Does Thomas Dewey seem radical to any of you?

    Dewey ran for president vs Truman in 1948 and lost the election.\\
    This old video is very interesting and then I hated republicans, like Democrats right now do, it was not a good hate when it came to Dewey.

    So learn some history if you desire. I know I did learn more.

    I was always a fan of his decimal system.

    I dont know much else about him.

    When I owned my machine shop in CA from 67-71, the talk then was America was going to definitely convert to the decimal system. It did not ever happen.

    I did not know about Dewey wanting that system. We used that system a lot in science courses but not in the math courses.

    Europe converted many years back. Are they ahead of us? Well that depends on what one is used to. In the Machine shop we worked daily in thousandths of an inch. But we were used to that.
