    Last week in a sit down interview with Fox News, Trump noted that former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer and current Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin were both being considered. Just days later, Ben Carson, who previously was leading the search for Trump's running mate, leaked the fact that former half-term Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was at the top of the list. Another odd name landing on the list, according to Carson, is Trump rival and former GOP candidate, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.

    I most assuredly did not. The term "turd" is clearly used in the abstract sense of a potential swan and in the context is clearly noted as well beyond the bounds of reasonable possibility.

    Palin has done a hell of a lot for Trump. He needs to present her as someone who was considered, even though she of course is not. Her followers will want this. Manafort and Trump are savvy as hell.

    Trump has already said he plans to pick an established DC insider to help him work with (manipulate) Congress.

    Newt Gingrich is a strong possibility.


    btw, Carson and Cruz are not considerations either. Anyone Trump leaks in any list is not a consideration. Manafort doesn't roll like that.

    I agree with you. It is not polite or nice to refer to most ladies as turds and anyone who does that should be massively ashamed of him/her self for doing so. The Palin Woman is a puke I am sure but that does not make her a turd. I think that the guy who referred to or alluded to the Palin as a turd owes the Palin Puke an apology and this forum an apology for harm to our collective sensibilities.

    Newt wasn't on that list. Which I believe was leaked by Carson.

    Trump has said Newt would make a great VP, though.

    I haven't heard anything about Corker.

    I think Trump wants a southerner, though, which would include Corker and Newt. To balance the ticket with both north and south.

    Kind of like Kennedy/LBJ
