Donald Trump fans baffled as he releases new NFT ‘superman’ trading cards after teasing ‘major annou

    It doesn't get any more funny than this!

    Donald Trump wants you to plunk down $99 for an NFT trading card. NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token and is essentially how you create a "unique" item on the internet using block-chain technology. Each card has a unique ID and can be verified through the block-chain, the purpose of which is to differentiate your card from just a copied image of the card.

    NFTs are one of the new fads related to crypto as both rely on block-chain technology to function. Where it differs is that the value of an NFT is controlled purely by what folks are willing to spend on them. They have no intrinsic value whatsoever. It's not even tied to the value of a currency like crypto is. Think of it as buying and selling paintings in real life, except the paintings here are just computer images and do not actually physically exist. NFTs can be more than just an image, they can also be a unique item in a video game world, but for the most part they are cosmetic or aesthetic.

    That Donald Trump teased this cash grab as a major announcement is beyond hilarious. I saw the headline on my phone a few minutes ago and literally started laughing out loud. I wasn't ROFLing but I was close. Then I ran here to see if anyone had noticed yet.

    If this is his idea of a "major announcement" he's not even going to make it to the first primary vote. Apparently he's sticking with the same sort of grifter advisors that got him into Truth Social. They may make some money, but they are not winning any elections.

    Dunno about the charity but the Campaign and PACs most likely can just like they did (including the RNC) bought Don Jr. book. What I can guarantee, they already know how they will grift it.
