    Sounds Good.

If you don't like it, use Bing or invent your own.

    Easy solution.:salute:

I said the same thing about the bakery and got called a bigot...

Can you make up your all's mind?

In all honesty though, if that's your stance, so be it, but they should have their government contracts rescinded.

Sure they'll be pumped about that.

If google is suppressing conservatives, as alleged, then why do I constantly find myself scrolling past dozens of hits from right wing sources - pushing some right wing meme or another - when I’m doing searches that are even remotely political in nature?

I think that there is a bigger story here. Back in the 90's, when Clinton came to power there was a movement broadly referred to as Atari Democrats. I think Gary Hart had a lot to do with it, Steve Jobs too. It was the merging of high tech, big money and liberal politics. It has a lot to do with the liberalization of the West Coast and Colorado. It has a lot to do with the rise of high tech. From the beginning it was a liberal undertaking. It is not a coincidence that all the tech companies lean liberal.

In the aftermath of the Russian interference, Google was blamed for allowing it happening. Congress has been really harsh on them. Like Facebook, Google is taking steps to prevent themselves from being used as instruments to spread misinformation. I would even make the argument that the reason the Russian interference wasn't so noticeable, was because the Republicans, through FOX News and right wing radio, have long been spreading misinformation. It was just more of the same.

Any effort to block outside groups from spreading false information is going to also block a lot of what comes out of right wing sources.

And Excite. They topped Yahoo, back in the day, just in time to be surpassed by Google.

There are all kinds of them. One can be perfectly happy by never entering a search into google.

When you search for something in google, like to fact check something, google might direct you to a biased source of information, which might influence your opinion, which ultimately can influence your vote.

Breitbart, Google two sides of the same coin. Just one vastly more powerful than the other.

Climate change. People believe climate change NOT because they have read the science of it but because it's blasted all over the MSM of which Google is a huge part. Now I'm not saying climate change isn't real. I am saying that people believe it's real because of the media not because they have studied it. People believe what they are told it's that simple.
Tell people a lie enough times over a long enough period and they will believe it.
We are not as smart and free thinking as we give ourselves credit for being.

CNN is not yellow journalism, you can disagree with their op-ed pieces, but reporting on daily events is not yellow journalism, let alone fake news.

That's why CNN is referred to as Conservative News Network, becaise of its longstanding heavy bias towards conservatives. Democrats everywhere know that they have to run against both the Republicans and the media.

Remember, when a Republicans cries "censorship", what he means is "You challenged my lies! That makes me a victim!".

If you don't want to be banned from decent society, don't be a lying POS. Private media outlets have the right and the moral duty to remove lying scumbags. It's not the Democrats who have Russian troll armies backing them up.

The FSB and Cambridge Analytica were both well aware of it.

And they both took advantage of the tech giant’s lax enforcement of standards and “look the other way” at almost all user supplied content.

Which is how the Russian FSB could promote their candidate, Donald Trump, to 130 million Americans, with the knowledge of the Trump campaign, which kept trying to collude with them almost openly,

I am continually astounded by the fact that a lot of people either don’t know that, or at just figuring it out now.

I’m known it for twenty years.
