    when we ask cons to save themselves money by driving smaller cars..


    What is it with you guys always trying to tell us what to do with our money?

    First you tax it now you want to tell us how to spend it. You really can't comprehend what the forth of July is can you?

    Yeh, and there's still Glaciers on Kilimanjaro and they're on the Equator, Global warming's all Hogwash

    Global warming could very well trigger a little Ice Age in Europe if fresh meltwater from Greenland attenuates the North Atlantic Gyre. This appears to be what happened from the middle 1400's to 1850 and it was not a particularly fun time to be a farmer there off and on. This will probably not take a century either as some of the climatologists studying the phenomena compare it to a light switch in its onset.

    The 4th is when we celebrate our Independence from an overweening Plutocracy that was exploiting everyone not rich by making them pay for their luxuries, like conservatives today who want to drive big cars that use lots of gas but not pay for the pollution and AGW they cause in gas taxes.

    The Founding Fathers would horsewhip most conservatives in the street were they alive today.

    By the way since when do we have an extra tax on electricity to electric cars to pay for roads and bridges like our gas taxes do?

    Why is clown cars getting a free ride and mooching off the system?

    The fact that climactic disasters happen for what often seems no reasons at all just shows how delicate the actual mechanisms are and how foolish the notion that we can continue to pump millions of tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere without consequence.

    But hey, AGW, is all a plot by Al Gore and Rosie O'Donnell. After all, they have more money than Exxon

    Jim Hansen is one Of Al Gore's advisors and their is waaayyy more money in the AGW cult then their is in the opposition in fact Universities get huge money from fossil fuels.

    Did you know green peace annual budget is over $200 million a year alone?

    Freedom is not the right to pollute the air I breathe and make me pay for it. If electric cars ever get to the point where they weigh as much as your trucks and SUV's I'll be all for taxing them to pay for the extra wear they put on the roads.
