    Like you, I do not have a military background, but I spent decades in the federal government. I can tell you from my own experience that public support for politically fashionable programs is something senior officials do just to keep the topic out of the way so they can get on with their real work. It's all a matter of protecting budgets year-to-year as political fashions change.

    I agree.

    But as you can see my discussion with other gentleman, he thinks ( most MAGA thinks) studying CRT in US Armed force made them cripple. As you worked Federal government, do you think a class on CRT could destroy the part of the government you worked? If US Armed force crippled by One study , then we have a bigger problem then ‘Woke” culture in our society. This is the problem with extreme right or extreme left, you can’t have rational debate with them.

    CRT may not be appropriate for US Army. The leadership might be doing it for political reason. But it is not crippling US military. We don’t need Matt Gatz yelling at SecDeff about CRT. Teaching CRT or not teaching CRT most likely politics, but it is not crippling US military.

    I respect your opinion. I disagree with you, but I respect your opinion. But you are not claiming CRT is weakening our armed force, CRT making the world worse and destroying fabric of America.

    I suspect it depresses morale as another time-wasting exercise in correctness where all concerned just want to deliver the expected answer so they can leave.

    I'll tell you this, I don't want Trump as my President again and I mean it. When Biden beat Trump in 2020, The voters had spoken. I believe the majority of the voters would rather have Biden than Trump. enough said.

    Lloyd Austin's West Point Class of 1975 will be having its 50th Reunion in 2025. Most of us are wondering if he will show up. There could be serious trouble considering the damage he has done to the Army.

    Llloyd was a friend of mine as a Cadet. We were roommates for awhile. I thought he was a great guy. Smart guy... an academic to a large degree. Last time I saw him he was a two star General. Then something happened and he started to do wokist things... ugly things.

    We'll just have to see.

    I never claimed to be a genius. That is just a lie.

    I like Trump's policies. Voting for someone is not like using an online dating site. You should be voting on their policies, not their looks, or popularity.

    It is apparently still a tort to repeat an offense you have lost a lawsuit over.

    Trump was not 'found innocent', on the contrary, he was held liable.

    This was a civil action. The jury found that Trump had in fact defamed her.

    In a civil case, you don't have to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

    I agree - DeSantis would have a better shot in Nov 24

    I just think that he has zero shot to get the nomination and won't even be a factor by next Feb
