I can't prove it, but I'm 100% certain that some of these 'anti-vaxer' people fake not getting the vaccine and tell others not to go get it

Not being cast out from the political community they feel a part of. That will be situational of course, not across the board, but there was plenty of polarization going on about the vaccines and both sides had their segments who got pretty hardcore about it. I would also be willing to bet there were people who told people they got the vaccine even though they didn't for this same reason.

Correct. It would be beyond foolish to worry about something someone posted in Twitter.

Respiratory infections can increase the risk of a stroke. Nothing new about it, and nothing to do with Covid, or Covid jabs.

Likewise, the flu shot can reduce the risk of a stroke, by reducing the risk of Respiratory infections in the first place.

Look don't worry. We made a REPORT. The REPORT tells you it is everything but that one thing.

Please make sure you don't discuss that one THING.

All these excess deaths that no one is looking into and you won't see the data in Canada or the United States except mentioned anecdotally. It isn't happening. It isn't real. It's always been this way. Oceans always have waves so your point about the tsunami is just ignorance about waves.

The levels of cope in this thread are hilarious. I guess they have to cope though. They wouldn't want to have a stroke or heart attack.

All this over mRNA covid vaccines that have saved a lot of lives and reduced the severity of infections.

Employers, businesses and other country's governments have every right to give preference to vaccinated employees. You were never forced to get a covid shot, so why are you upset?

Anyone working for an employer with 100 or more employees would have been forced if not for the courts telling the dictator in Chief that he was unable to do that

You don't have a right to a job. The employer can send you packing for not getting vaccinated. Are you saying they should lose their right to employ someone else?

Not just singling out you and @yardmeat , but the "conspiracy theory! conspiracy theory! conspiracy theory!" kneejerk response to anything that one doesn't agree with, isn't convinced of, or doesn't align with the MSM narrative seriously needs to stop because it is a completely thoughtless response. There is absolutely NOTHING intelligent about screaming "CONSPIRACY THEORY!" to the high heavens, at the top of one's lungs, as if that is somehow some sort of intelligent response to the reasoning that has been presented.

In fact, the retort of screaming "CONSPIRACY THEORY!", besides being screamed by people who don't even know what a conspiracy theory is to begin with, is built upon the false premise that conspiracy theories are always false/bad/silly or some other negative connotation.

IOW, modern day liberals/democrats/marxists have hijacked the word 'conspiracy theory' to mean any narrative that counters the official (or supposedly "popular") narrative. It is a manipulative means to cause one to feel like an idiot for daring to question "experts" / "officials" / "authorities".

The same thing applies to the other now-popular word "misinformation". And for such people being within the "diversity is our strength!" crowd, they sure as hell do not like diversity of thought one bit, and try to shut it down every chance they get...

Your efforts here would be far better placed trying to get those who create and promote these conspiracy theories to stop than it is trying to stop folks from pointing them out. What do you think is going to happen when people promote idiocy? We should go along with it? We should just remain silent? Come on man, seriously.

There is no "questioning" going on. There is a segment of the population asserting something as truth with zero evidence other than paranoia, distrust, and whatever the allure of crackpot nonsense is. In this country, all men may be created equal but that doesn't extend to ideas. Ideas are not equal. Some ideas are just plain dumb and cannot be substantiated. So while your little dig about diversity might send some folks darting for the "like" button, all it really does is show you don't understand the difference between a person and an idea. People are due certain rights. Ideas are not. These are two totally different and separate sets of standards.

The funny thing about everyone or anyone screaming about science, facts and conspiracy theories is science is supposed to be FALSIFIABLE.

That’s literally the point of PROOF.

The “vaccine” keeps failing but they just keep doubling down. Joe here will have a stroke and he’s thankful the vaccine saved him from dying.

A vaccine where you were supposed to be safe and immune after two doses has now become four to five doses, you’ll still get sick, increasingly you’ll still die since the majority of deaths are among the vaccinated now and of course nothing is changing but you’re a conspiracy nut if you mention the emperor has no clothes and is naked.

At least ol’Joe can say the words NATURAL IMMUNITY and not get tossed off MSNBC. Things must be improving or perhaps the people who were doing the censoring have been laid off or died.

I think there is enough exaggeration on both sides to raise valid questions. I have had 3 shots and after I had them my Dr was checking my BP and heard a skip or a series of skips and he said he had never heard that on me before. He sent me to a heart specialist who put a recording device on me for a week. He said it wasn't a problem at that point. I'm not a young man so is it a problem with the vaccine or just my age? I'm not too worried about it but if this happened to me in my 40s or 50s I would be a bit concerned.

I know the medical professionals saw this as new and unknown and they took drastic measures to try to stay out front of it. Just from having watched the whole thing play out and the damage done to our lives and economy as well as that in the rest of the world it seems like overkill.

The governor of NY is an ignorant and unscientific moron.

She still believes if someone is vaccinated that they can’t get COVID, can’t have a viral load and cannot transmit the virus. The news informed us quite a while ago that the pharmaceutical companies never made those claims about their vaccines.

That is why the vaccine mandates have been struck down by the courts. It isn’t religion It isn’t body autonomy. It isn’t right to privacy. The vaccines make no promises and do not work so they can’t be mandated.

Continued ignorance of what conspiracy theories are.
Continued pretending that conspiracy theories are a bad thing.
    Are you Joe Biden?

Ignoring evidence does not make it go away.

Why did my truthful statement about diversity cause this particular response? (I already know the answer)

No. All it shows is that the "diversity is our strength!" chanters don't actually believe what they say.

I know that you and others wish to use "conspiracy theory" as a retort to any narrative that opposes the "official" narrative, as a manipulative means to cause people to feel like idiots for daring to question it, but I won't let it slide without calling it out for what it is. Liberals/Democrats/Marxists are very controlling/demanding like that, and most people are absolutely sick of it.

Conspiracy theories are always a bad thing when they are floated as truth because there is always an agenda behind them. Whether it's to further a specific group's power, or just plain old anti-establishmentism and childish rebellion, there is always something to gain from those who create and perpetuate them. Truth isn't even part of the equation. If it was, they wouldn't create and support conspiracy theories.

Now don't get me wrong, it's worth it when figuring out a problem to consider all options. But you have to consider evidence when doing so, or you end up falling prey to conspiracy theories.

You can't ignore what isn't there.

Diversity is a good thing, even when it comes to ideas. But that doesn't mean an idea being "diverse" makes it a good one or a credible one. Nor do we owe every idea that gets floated out there the same amount of benefit of the doubt, especially with no evidence. You brought this up not to be truthful but to get a zinger in there because diversity is supposed to be a left-wing thing and in your head you're thinking you've somehow got me. You don't.

That's also not how I use the term "conspiracy theory" at all. It's not one I throw around likely, and in fact, I reserve it's use for the more outlandish nonsense. And as I said, questioning is fine, even encouraged. Questioning is the heart of science. Conspiracy theories start when the people doing the questioning don't like the answers they hear, or have entered into it with their conclusion already established but can't find any real evidence to support it. There also needs to be an insidious bad guy in any conspiracy theory, and it's usually one to which the person creating or perpetuating the conspiracy theory already has negative feelings and paranoia about. It's easy for anti-government folks to see devils where none exist, because they want to see them so badly they will them into existence in their own heads.

So while I'm sure it's fun to type out all the nonsense you have that ultimately serves to prop you and others of a similar mindset up as the "real" critical thinkers, I would just remind you that just because you've had an idea and it fits your biases, it doesn't mean you've actually discovered something.
