Manufacturing has been in recession for over six months. And the market is crashing almost like it did in 2008 and early 2009.

And now because of trump's total ineptitude, we have markets in chaos. Markets want to see clear leadership in times of crisis. But trump doesn't have a clue how to be a leader.

Generally the illegals dont pay payroll taxes in our current economy They are contract workers and given a 1099 at tax time . The employer does no withholding . And the illegal does not file taxes .

At least that is how employers do it here in the south.

So we probably have 20 to 30 million not paying taxes and send some of their income to Mexico .So they are not consuming much of the US economy. Parasites comes to mind .

Trump wants to prop up the economy till after the election, but I am all for trickle up economics, regardless if it helps the stock market, it will help the working class - if the people have the money to spend, it will help businesses as well, and they will have to hire to fill the demand

 

I agree with you & when I heard the Election Day cutoff timeframe I knew it was dead on arrival.

 

And now we get to the real issue. Basically, if your employer doesn't see you worthy of things like health insurance, well the coronavirus outbreak is as good a reason as any to try to get it from government. I have zero interest in receiving "charity", and I'm not interested in being forced into charitable giving. I'm covered.
