Yes I did buy a car. Even on credit. And when I did I planned ahead and knew where I had to cut down in order to be able to pay that credit off. Something the left doesn't understand. You are aware aren't you, that ALL your "advanced" nations are broke and are experiencing riots, looting, burning, and KILLING by the very same parasites that you DEMAND we 'share' with? You do know that, right?

The base liberal idea of "Something for nothing," is wrong. There is never something for nothing. EVERYTHING always has to be paid for one way or another.

 

England does not equal all. There are any number of Social Democracies in northern Europe (Germany, Austria, Holland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland,...) that are not experiencing riots, looting, burning ... and that enjoy as high or higher standards of living than ours. Germany, a country considerably smaller than the USA, exports more than us (it's the second largest exporter in the world), despite a social safety net far better than ours.

It's not really about how many shades to the right or left of center a nation is. It's more a matter of competent governance, something in short supply here for at least the last 10 years.

 

Not all of them. We all may be broke....but it seems to be only Europe and countries on that side of the world who get upset to the point where they think it's alright riot and destroy everything around them. I don't get that personally.
