Earthquake off Philippines Coast

    I've just read on Twitter, though there's no news articles on it just yet.

    Thought to be 7.9 on the Richter scale, and there has been a tsunami warning issued for Indonesia, Japan and Papua New Guinea. :(

    Fortunately it was under the sea so not many people were killed. One person is reported dead after their house collapsed.

    I think there are still tsunami warnings but nothing has happened yet.

    Wow, better check in with my friends there and see that they are all ok. Thats all they need down there is another natural disaster.

    Everyone I know lives in or around the Manila area, and are all ok. None of them even knew an earthquake had occurred.
