    Washington was threatening to cut off aid to Egypt if the military government didnt lift the travel ban on U.S. imperial stooges, the National Endowment for Democracy after being charged with illegally operating unlicensed foreign NGOs in the country. The ban was lifted on February 29 but it's unclear if the charges will be dropped.
