Actually, if you read Mohammad's writing, you would find that he was actually pretty up there.
He had one of the first sets of rules of engagments, including protections for prisoners of war, prohibitions on killing the women, children, elderly, sick, etc, prohibitions on destroying temples or harming preists. a prohibition on damaging nature to gain a strategic advantage.

I'm not saying that the Quran doesn't have some bat **** crazy, **** in it, but if you read the bible, it's just as bad as the Quran. You can't judge all Muslims by what their holy book orders them to do without doing the same for Christians.


The bible literally says that all those who do not worship the Hebrew god are to be utterly destroyed, their men women, children, and all livestock slaughtered, and houses and templed razed to the ground, and all evidence that they ever existed to be wiped off the face of the earth. That sound pretty much the same as the Quran's order that non-believers be killed.

The bible also says that if a woman is raped in a city, she has to be executed because shes a adultress, because the only reason she was raped is because she didn't scream loud enough, and that if he HAD screamed loud enough, the men of the city would have saved her because that's what men always do. But if she's raped outside of a city she is to be spared because there would be no one to save her.

And it says that if a unmarried virgin is raped, she isn't the victim. The victim is her father who was robbed of her virginity, which could be sold to a husband. The price of raping her is that the man who raped her has to pay double what her father would normally charge as her dowry and marry her and can never divorce her.
