This is the full list of white house officials who have resigned from the Trump administrational in response to the January 6th attempts to disrupt the peaceful transition of power of our federal government. I am also including some of their public statements made addressing their resignation (if any). I will be posting updates if any more officials announce their resignation

Elaine Chao - the transportation secretary

Mick Mulvaney - U.S. envoy to Northern Ireland (former chief of staff)

“I called [Secretary of State] Mike Pompeo last night to let him know I was resigning from that. I can’t do it. I can’t stay. Those who choose to stay, and I have talked with some of them, are choosing to stay because they’re worried the president might put someone worse in"

Stephanie Grisham - chief of staff to first lady Melania Trump (former press secretary)

"It has been an honor to serve the country in the @ whitehouse. I am very proud to have been a part of @FLOTUS @MELANIATRUMP mission to help children everywhere, & proud of the many accomplishments of this Administration.”

Sarah Matthews - White House deputy press secretary

"As someone who worked in the halls of Congress, I was deeply disturbed by what I saw today. I'll be stepping down from my role, effective immediately. Our nation needs a peaceful transfer of power"

Anna Cristina 'Rickie' Niceta - White House social secretary

Matthew Pottinger - deputy to national security adviser

Tyler Goodspeed (chairman of Trump’s Council of Economic Advisers)

"The events of yesterday made my position no longer tenable"

Resigning in protest might help their conscience but doesn't improve our present situation. Either the 25th is invoked or he's impeached a second time.

They can all suck it. I'm disgusting with this inconsequential face saving measure by people who turned their backs on the nation when it mattered.

From the sound of things, there were people within the administration who were discussing invoking the 25th. Of course as long as those people remain unnamed I feel like can't validate whether those reports are exaggerations, or outright false.

If they really want to make things right, they should act as witnesses to let the public know what was going on behind closed doors. Simply removing yourself from the administration in its final days means nothing

Betsy Devos - Secretary of Education

"We should be highlighting and celebrating your Administration's many accomplishments on behalf of the American people. Instead we are left to clean up the mess caused by violent protesters overrunning the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to undermine the people's business. That behavior was unconscionable for our country. There is no mistaking the impact your rhetoric had on the situation, and it is the inflection point for me"
