The same argument can be made against certain races. Violence is certainly an issue here in the US. What is the solution?

54% of all murders committed by blacks = you can't say they're a threat! That's RACIST!!!

So far, all the left can come up with is taking guns from those who aren't killing people.

Extremist-related killings in 2018 'overwhelmingly linked to right-wing' movements: ADL
This is a valuable thread with an important point to make that is probably not common knowledge.

    The important point...
    Right-wing extremist-related killings are virtually non-existent.

I stop listening to the ADL when they became politicized.

I'll take a guess. Naziism and socialism share one clear similarity. They like government being in charge of business. The Nazis didn't operate all the businesses but the operated all of those they cared about. That is what makes them similar to socialists.

I have no idea what American Nazi's believe but I tend to assign the blame for murder to those people who committed the murders, not to organizations they support. If the organizations ordered the murders then, by American law, they are guilty of murders as well. I don't know what motivated the murderers.

Personally I view the leftish Antifa group to be more dangerous. Rather than attacking people of race and religion, they attack the fundamentals of government itself. They are anarchists and pretty similar to the historic Nazis since the push their agenda with violence. I don't see American Nazis doing that. If they do they don't to it to the same degree. We would be better off without any of these organizations.

If the majority of senseless killings in 2018 were by done by right-wing extremists, then your statement makes no sense.

Fifty murders out of exactly how many? What was the total number of homicides in the united states for the given year?

You're trying to make a point about a "threat" posed by a group of people responsible for 87 murders over 2 years.
    Stop embarrassing yourself.

Google says there were 19,362 homicides in the US in 2018. Sooo 50 is 1/4 of 1% of all homicides in the US.

Just more fake news from the peanut gallery.

I think this thread compared murders committed by extremists on both ends of the political spectrum, NOT comparing right-wing extremist murders against the total of murders committed in the country. Let's stay on the thread core theme here please.

Note to groups who like to slay: some trumpkins don't recognise you as a threat unless you go really big. Slaying 87 is small beer, they don't even notice it. Getting cut up in traffic registers higher on their scale of give a fk. Go big, 3k plus.

Note to groups who like to belittle slayers because they're kin: your every internet utterance is recorded forever.

I'm not embarrassed. The comparison was supposed to be between murders committed by extremists on the right and left--not total murders committed altogether. Of course totals will be small for both sides.

And so, there is an approaching-zero chance of being murdered by an extremist.
    Oh, what shall we do?

Let me briefly take you under my wing here...

When many on the right encounter facts they don't like, they simply reject these facts in favor of what SNL calls "feel facts."

Reality is irrelevant to such people, and no matter how many times you may repeat, restate or factually support reality, you will NOT get through.

So kick back, chill, and watch the spectacle as MAGA destroys itself from the inside out.

    Hugely sad.

Here is a stat for you. You are 70 times more likely to be killed by someone using a cell phone than a right wing extremist.

2015 U.S. Cell Phone and Driving Statistics
    • In 2015, 3,477 people were killed and 391,000 people were injured in motor vehicle crashes involving distracted drivers.

"The report from the ADL, a Jewish organization focused on fighting anti-Semitism, claims that in 2018, "every single extremist killing — from Pittsburgh to Parkland — had a link to right-wing extremism."

    ===========

The Parkland shooter was a right wing terrorist now? I don't remember him mentioning a single political motive. His only motive was to randomly shoot people and cause chaos. Cute revision of the facts by a left wing source. The Pittsburgh shooter hated Donald Trump because he had done too much to help Jews. The ADL also listed the black police assassin in Louisiana as "right wing" and the Dallas police shooter as "unaffiliated".....even these two for horrific left wing inspired murders and both shooters loved Obama.

All one has to do is look at the cases they cite to see the truth. Liberalism is a mental illness.

Did you read the article? 50 deaths in 2018, up from 37.

About 4x more people die from self-immolation - suicide by fire - than right-wing extremist violence.

Compared to murder stats for the entire nation for all reasons, that's puny, but taken as an independent stat for political murders by extremists, it's a concern that increased by 35% in one year. That's substantial, for a type of murder Americans have had little experience with.

No, I didn't read the article. I simply responded to your post.
