Mueller being involved in this, with Stormy Daniels, is VERY interesting. I wonder if this is to be about campaign money being used to pay Stormy Daniels, because Cohen didn't work for the Trump campaign, and Mueller is only looking at the campaign and connections to Russia.

“I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.”- Stephen Ryan, lawyer for Michael Cohen.

    Well now then....that is some <Rule 9>.

The fact that the warrant includes the seizure of communications between Trump and Cohen is really big. The only real reason for attorney-client privilege to be broken is if the client had his attorney doing illegal things on his behalf. And for a judge to sign off on a lawyer's office...

Well that is just really ****ing hard, so the evidence presented to the judge must have been especially damning.

Also, this warrant was apparently a "no knock" warrant which means that they also managed to convince the judge that if they knocked on the door and presented the warrant through the normal course of business, documents/evidence would have been destroyed.

Mueller is clearly taunting Trump knowing what a weak hand he (Mulls) has. If he continues to poke the bear, Rosenstein may be forced to fire him.

Desperate, not interesting would be a far more accurate description if Mueller and his 20 high paid star prosecutors, charged with investigating treason and subversion of democracy are reduced to investigating a payoff to a prostitute.

"and all crimes uncovered in the investigation thereof."

Setting up a corporation to make an illegal campaign contribution and then lying about/destroying that evidence does violate a few felony laws...

I'm sure that it's just part of Mueller's investigation into Hillary's emails. :roflol:

At a minimum it means that enough evidence was presented to a judge to obtain a no knock warrant against a lawyer's office. The evidence gathered from that search warrant will require some time to fully decipher.

Do you remember all of those no-knock warrants issued against Obama and Hillary associates?

Tan suit-gate will be a black eye on the soul of US politics for decades to come.

Well, that is big trouble for trump. I have a feeling that there is nothing that could happen that would make the trumpistas admit to his problems, but they can all think he is innocent if he gets impeached and convicted because it won't matter with him in jail.

I might have to revise my previous opinion trump will not get impeached. If they are raiding his personal lawyer's office for evidence via a warrant they have to have some pretty good cause. That is saying attorney client privilege is over and there are very few ways you can hit someone's lawyer like that. The FBI does not get warrants for a personal lawyer's office from an independent judge because Mueller is on a desperate wild goose chase.

Clinton got impeached over his relationship with Monica.... so could happen, though I think there is more, something like money laundering maybe

like Nixon and Clinton, Trump will never do any time for any crimes if true, but it will be fun to watch
