I am pleased to announce that the FAIR (Forced Arbitration Injustice Repeal) Act passed the House on September 20, 2019.

Mandatory arbitration is an unconscionable business practice and needs to be banned, which is what this Bill will do.

The vote was 225-186 and clearly along party lines.

Only two Democrats voted against, and only two Republicants voted for.

No doubt one of the benefits of the 2018 Mid-Term Election was protecting consumers, because Republicants are hellbent on giving increasing power over consumers to US and foreign corporations.

The Bill is now pending in the Senate, and to avoid another vote along party lines, I urge you inundate Republicant Senators with emails showing support for the Bill.

This Bill is in response to the two recent tyrannical decisions by the US Supreme Court, AT&T Mobility v. Concepcion 563 U.S. 333 (2011) and American Express v. Italian Colors 559 U.S. 1103 (2013) in which the Court just made things up.
