    a cover I heard live-its too bad these guys didn't last mainly because the lead singer thought he was going to be an acting star (see Platoon)

    the Guitarist was as good as it gets in that era and the bassist was top drawer too

    they opened for the Stones in Cincinnati in 89

    two great guitarists, both who played with David on his various tours or records cover one of his songs. I am a big fan of Adrian, he's a local guy from the greater Cincinnati area and used to play local gigs back in the day. arguably the greatest rocker from the area (Marty Balin was born here and the Indy Band "The National" are local products)

    The original comes from a guy who was fairly successful back in his day and but was far more respected by other musicians as a musical genius

    my favorite song of his covered by these two

    (and I will note that Susanna Hoffs proves you can still be gorgeous at 55 or so-indeed I thought she was kind of a mutt when the Bangles first came out but she always could sing and when she got rid of that silly 80s big hair she morphed into a real vixen
