I can't quote the entire article, but it shows that Trump's lies about the election being stolen have spawned scores of death threats to election officials who do not kow tow to Trump's rhetoric, they could be Republicans or Democrats, just folks trying to do their civic duty to help with the election process, and this is the thanks they recieve.

Thanks a lot, Trump, for single handedly poisoning American Democracy.

We have hard evidence that Trump is a destabilizing force in America and Republicans ignore what is in front of their faces, only to accuse Biden on SCANT evidence.

What is their response to posts like this?

"Quit spamming the frum with anti-Trump threads' (sorry, Trump is a candidate and fair game, and poses a threat to US National security, I would be remiss if I didn't post these threads. As long as they are truthful, and they are, I'm doing the right thing, so the question is, why aren't you doing the same?).

"The more you post anti-Trump threads, the more I want to vote for Trump" (now that's logic, for you. Evidence for a con man criminal pervert and you think he's the cat's pajamas. Wonderful.).

"Trump is winning in the polls". (Well, +1.6 rcp averages, that's not slam dunk lead, but, Maybe so, I admit the right has done marvelous job of bamboozling the masses, mostly lies about inflation and the fact that many people can't see past the price of bread and milk, but don't count your chickens too soon, that's all I can say. Trump is becoming more unhinged, incoherent, and caving for the pressure, not to mention he's struggling for cash for his campaign, and he'll be in court for much of the year until Nov. We shall see who wins, tortoise or hare. It ain't over 'till it's over).

PHOENIX — Justice Department officials said reports of widespread threats against officials running the 2020 and 2022 elections have resulted in charges against roughly 20 people, with more than a half dozen receiving sentences between one and 3½ years.

    [...]

When Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election and falsely claimed that Joe Biden wasn’t the true winner because of widespread voter fraud, election workers across the country — from rank-and-file employees who helped process ballots to top state officials who certified or defended the results — came under attack. In June 2021, Attorney General Merrick Garland launched the Election Threats Task Force to combat violent threats facing election workers.

An outsize number of the prosecutions have involved Arizona, a competitive swing state in the 2020 election that helped clinch President Biden’s victory and became a hotbed for conspiracy theories falsely claiming that the election was rigged and Trump actually won. Officials said that they have seven federal cases in which people who reside outside Arizona have been charged with threatening the state’s election workers.
