yeah you heard this pitch ,robots so are safe better then humans have no emotions can't attack or harm yah because of there program, well it didnt turn out for this lady hair in s korea. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/wor...-south-korea-housewife-hair-article-1.2108334
ok so it wasn't the 1st attack Arrg!
Dude, it is a vacuum. It has proximity sensors and a couple of small DC motors. It did not "attack" anyone. The lady with long hair was asleep on the floor and her hair got vacuumed up.
what if it was hacked to attack her..and there not saying this..to protect the inDUSTry.. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/sns-bc-us--cars-cybersecurity-20150209-story.html

are you sure they were hacking them in 2012
That is not a "hack". That is an Arduino on top of what used to be a vacuum cleaner. On it is a range finder. When the range finder fails to sense something within a set distance, it is programmed to slow down one DC motor running one wheel so it turns towards the last object it sensed. Here is a link on how to do it. http://playground.arduino.cc/Main/LibraryList#Sensors - - - Updated - - - Do you think someone broke into the lady's house and programmed the vacuum to vacuum up her hair while she was laying on the ground?
It wasn't the vacuum, it was SHARK CAT!!
I remember a case once about a woman suing for injuries caused by a vibrating dildo that ran amok. Does that count?
Is there any coincidence between this attack and the fact that the robot is black?
Why would you leave a Roomba running if you sleep on the floor? This is clearly a code 5 moron alert.
These robot attacks are probably the result of owners who are abusive. This woman probably kicked or dropped the robot before taking her nap of course these owners will never admit to being abusive. These robots have a long memory and given the chance they will take out their revenge in the most heinous ways imaginable. The video below shows how one of these (presumably) abused robots reaped its revenge by smearing dog poop all over the living room floor.
