The difference between most leftists and most conservatives--there are exceptions in both camps--is that most leftists justify and condone most intolerant, hateful, punitive, destructive behavior toward those they disagree with and/or who are of the wrong group or political party and/or who do not embrace their doctrines and/or dictated political correctness. Most conservatives--again there are exceptions--are not persuaded to retaliation because we disagree with others. Most conservatives will act when harm is being done. But they do not require that everybody agree with them and would not even think about assaulting somebody who wore a hat or tee or whatever that they disagreed with.

Most districts in California, you're absolutely right. Mine is a bit - odd. Like I said, there's politics involved. It also involves possibly the most corrupt teachers union in the state. Certainly the chance exists of being put on paid admin leave for me too, and we have had teachers where it took ten years to kick out someone who was clearly incompetent, but I've also seen some who went pretty fast.

 

I've complained about that particular member. With some luck, someone will get off their ass and do something about that particular TEXTBOOK TROLL.

 

The damage that has been done by just one right-wing white supremacist group (KKK) in this country has literally been incalcuable. Lynchings, church bombings, murders, rapes, maimings, etc. There's no comparable group on the progressive side. It's not even close.

Can you imagine George Bush or Reagan saying the kind of stuff Trump says on a daily basis? What the hell happened to you guys?

 

What percentage of the population is black, and as a group, what percentage of rape, murder, assault, ETC. are they responsible for? What's the body count? How many lives have been ruined? Have they surpassed the klan yet?

And GOD FORBID there's ever a socialist or communist "revolution" in this country.

While their agenda is despicable, hateful, and indefensible, they have been insignificant in the national debate for a very long time now. Can we focus on the here and now as both the left and right have very hateful periods in their history none of which is relevant to now?
