    No - plastics continue to make a mess of our environment. This inddustry can solve the problem by standardizing chemicals and processes, and spearheading the recycling effort. I saw a study that stated that in the course of 10 years, a human being will ingest the equivalent of an ocean buoy.

    Has it been demonstrated on any scape, or just lab experiments.

    How would that be demonstrated? If I understand the study, they take the number and size of plastic particles found in food items, and take average ingestion, and total numbers.
