Lol! That's funny! I should pack up my rabbit and head out to the next rabbit convention! Rabbits are serious business!
You should really test the mousse au chocolat (chocolate foam). It's not that hard to do it by yourself even if it ask some attention. Probably one of my favorite dessert with tiramisu. http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/mousse-au-chocolat
In Amsterdam/only place I've really been in continental Europe, I saw loads of Milka chocolate everywhere, a lot more than found in the UK.. and last week I found a Milka jaffa cake and Milka chocolate mousse jaffa cake without the jaffa, just chocolate mousse imported from Poland. (Like a confectionery). We get chocolate mousse in the UK in though, but it's mostly a cold dessert. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=c...j5PUAhVDOMAKHdMADwgQ_AUIBigB&biw=1366&bih=613
In France too, but it's better handmade. You have to use fresh eggs for the original recipe and factory made dessert can't afford to use fresh eggs because it's too delicate. Specifically from Normandy, we have Teurgoule. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teurgoule
Went to grocery store catering to Mexicans. Heard they had tacos and it was next door to where I was shopping...but I didn't recognize what was on my plate! First time I had street tacos and loved them so much I make it at home now. Some restaurants are doing their own version of street tacos but they aren't cutting it.
In Amsterdam in 2016 when I returned, I found this place we have all over in the UK, so it was a surprise to see it in Amsterdam. There was two things different about this one than the ones at home - The people who served the food were white, not Asian subcontinent... but more importantly..; The food here was good! Here's what I had to say about it on Yelp! I decided going native wasn't for me in 2016, but that said, that's also when I found that Chocomel drink. It's not like I tried anything in 2015 that I didn't like... I just didn't know a damn thing about Amsterdam really when I went. I knew windmills wooden clogs flatness canals Vincent Van Gogh Red Light District Marijuana KLM They have a royal family too. Hagelslag (I researched this one after I saw it on TV on YouTube). and roughly where it was. On the way in to Amsterdam we passed the Heineken Factory, I was like... (Oh yeah)!... Heineken is here!? Cool. (I know it's not Danish, now).. I... Thought the Royal Palace of Amsterdam was a nice looking hotel before the last day in 2015, never heard of Dam Square before my first day ever in Amsterdam and I went into a local tourist information centre with my phone, on my first trip out of the coffee house next to my hotel... I got given one of those free maps, so using that, I asked her the lady working there; 1. Where is this? - pointing to this guitar shop google showed me. She marked it on the map for me . I asked 2. Where am I?/Where are we now? She was kind enough to mark that for me too . Then I asked here... 3. And what are the local landmarks here? If I get lost and need to find my way back, what do I ask for? She said 'Dam Square' It's just out there, and she marked that on the map for me too.. Very helpful, but; there was a lot I didn't know about Amsterdam before going there, like the Dutch bicycle. I knew they cycled and all of that, but, I never knew there was one type of bicycle. I say the police ride road bikes/mountain bikes but everyone else had those gearless Dutch ones. Yeah.. You live, you learn. So naturally, I was like... Hmmm... When I got back home, so I YouTube'd and found this. and saw gin, licorice, and herring... So that's why I decided not to go native in 2016. Also this place that was Dutch Caribbean and Indonesian I went to in 2015. Was also why I didn't want to go native in 2016. I walked past this place in 2015.. This food is also popular there.
I got these last night from my local branch of Tesco (UK chain retail) and this was the last pack in sale and was reduced to £2.00 from £3.47 and has a massive imported foods sticker that says country if origin USA and the name and address of the UK importer and ... 'Looks like this' And when I tried one last night, it honestly made me crave a beer with it! Strange reaction but my reaction nonetheless. So I waited until tonight to snack on them with beer I bought especially for it. Tonight not being a school night and all... So my conclusion of this was: "It made me want a beer." Straight up; Made me want a beer with it - will make an excellent bar food...
