My two Great Uncles did not want to kill anyone but they were in the U.S. Army and when Chinese Troops came streaming over the boarder as the U.S. Military had just about completed the invasion....both my Great Uncles told stories of killing so many Chinese Troops as they came in waves that U.S. Mortor's and .50 Cal positions would keep shooting until the number of Chinese dead were so many that the Chinese Troops had to climb and crawl over very high mounds of their own dead.

I am sorry they killed some of your family.

They didnt.

Nobody in my family served in that war, and Mao killed the soldiers who did as surely as they beat / starved the members of my family who didnt survive that awful time when he was in charge.

Fortunately, HK was always beyond his reach or it would have been worse.
