Former Tea Partier Leader Busted by Feds On Tax Fraud and Witness Tampering

    Former Tea Party official and porn mogul Selim “Sam’’ Zherka was arrested recently on charges of Tax Fraud, Witness Tampering, wire fraud and other federal charges. Described by the FBI as a "violent thug with a long rap sheet", Zherka is being held in jail and the government will seek to have no bail set for him.

    I wonder what excuses the Tea Party will make up for this common thug/hood justifying his alleged actions?

    I have never heard of the guy.

    Meh... I bet he has not done near the scams as Harry Reid and his land deals or Charlie Rangel and his tax evasion or Ted Kennedy and his girlfriend drunk driving manslaughter.

    They just likely actually prosecuted him because he is not a Democrat. They get a free pass.

    Yep, but since people like the OP happen to think being a "former" something is still relevant let's look at the longest serving "former" KKK leader in the senate who was also a democrat.

    Tea Party has no formal leader.....by design. You and I know this. Wish the cycle had use of typewriter and any given wisdom, news was thought about and took some time or notion. Impulse had yet to find keyboard results miles away -1980. Never mind that I think Rock and Roll is dead.

    How does a grass right movement have a "leader" and" A former state Tea Party organizer" ( from the article) is not a "Leader"

    Also

    "He currently has a pending lawsuit against several IRS and FBI agents for targeting him in a tax investigation as political retaliation for prominent Tea Party activities."

    But we know the honest IRS would never do that!

    The Tea Party is the most polite and respectful group of people you'll ever meet. They're never loud and none of them are ignorant. They are upstanding Christian, America-loving, gun-loving, freedom-loving citizens and a real Tea Party member would never be involved in any kind of crime or sleaze.

    Hmm, former tea party leader? If was a Democrat party leader, those charges would make him an Icon within Democrat party ranks. If he was a "former" Democrat party leader there would be a movement within the party to make him the chairman of the Democrat National Committee.
