    That is my point

    We know this drug has a low toxicity level and it becomes worse than useless if the therapeutic level is higher than the toxicity level

    so far no studies have shown it is effective

    As a US Army infantryman with 3 to trips the middle east, I have been issued this pill multiple times. I got the briefing on it. Thankfully I never needed it, but I would rather take my chances with HCQ than without it.

    Being willing to take it in an emergency is one thing, but the nutball is promoting it as a cure, saying there is no longer a need for basic safety measures.

    The FDA declared the drug unsafe immediately following the debunked study falsely claiming heart rythem problems.

    "The FDA issued the emergency use authorization for the drugs in March. The EUA meant that doctors would be allowed to use the drugs on patients hospitalized with Covid-19 even though they had not been formally approved by the agency.

    However, the agency warned consumers a month later against taking the drugs to treat Covid-19 outside a hospital or formal clinical trial setting due to the risk of “serious heart rhythm problems” in some patients.

    As for research supporting the drug I never made a claim that there was such research do your question is irrelevant to the subject matter.

    So you imply a higher dose is used for covid than for malaria or lupus but actually you have no idea and are just talking out your ass.

    You made the claim the dose for covid was higher than for malaria not me. I simply asked an honest question you obviously can't answer. Don't make claims you can't back up. It makes you look foolish and destroys your. argument

    You asked me if I knew the difference in dosage for Malaria and covid. I said no do you? Obviously you don't either so we both agree we dont know and your implication that covid dosage was higher is retracted. Cool :)

    So in summation the drug is safe and effective in known doses and we dont know if its outside those parameters with covid

    As I previously stated

    if the therapeutic range exceeded the toxicity range the drug is worse than useless and every study including the one I just linked to show no discernible effect within the acceptable dosage range

    1. This is from April - fast forward to today and India is about to outstrip Brazil
    2. All of these countries have very limited testing capabilities
    3. Most of these countries are highly probably undercounting the deaths due to poor healthcare infrastructure ( caveat India may be reasonably accurate but they will tell you they really cannot track the deaths within the slum districts)

    5. Some of these countries “locked down” hard like Australia did
    6. Talking of Australia and New Zealand both of us have ver low death rates and we don’t take HCQ because there is no malaria here
