Not shy about her use of schtick to wow a crowd, the little
Lass saw fit Sunday night at a Music awards show to highlight
and stick it in the face of her Fans,The New GaGa.This time her
alter-ego Male hood side.Looking like Ralph Macchio of the Karate Kid
replete with 50's greaser hair,50's style sideburns and what appeared
a dirty face,as if just finishing a brawl in some back alley and got
    dirt smeared on.
Her song was traditional GaGa,sounding rough & ready yet also famaliar
as if it was done before. After all GaGa's the thing.

She ,I mean HE is the thing. All the rage.Stormin town and you best be
ready or find her in some Men's Room, tempting a fight.
She will not be denied ... Nor go quietly in the Niiiiight.
She has too much left inside to let out.
She'll wear Inside out and outside In.She,I mean HE is just gettin'
    started.
She,I mean HE is NOT real. She is Theatre.Wears the Devil out and
    stops Prada in her tracks.

I don't like her music and don't care for her image. She may not be real, but her personal donations to disaster victims around the world is, so I respect her for that.

    FTW.

    Cannot stand her music.
Find her image disturbing, especially to young girls, one of which I have made.
Do not respect her interpretation of "art".

Respect her dedication to her work. Fewer harder working performers in the game. Easy to do when pitch doesn't matter... but her/his theater commands respect in its difficulty.

I think she looks like a tranny and her open lesbianism considering the demographics of her fan base (lil monsters), I am annoyed...

At the end of the day, while she does not grace my theater, I respect her bucking of the establishment I would prefer.

I think she is a work in progress as far as belting out a song.I'm not
interested in her Video dalliance.I'm talkin the Rock & Roll verve of
singing and being heard.I know she Craves to be seen.
But like a Mozart,to be Heard is the thing. She is not a Composer
because she has No formal training in music.Merely a flash in the pan
Singer, like Madonna who has an Ego the size of Manhattan proper.

    I respect people who WORK.

    She works.

I am not a big fan of Bon Jovi... but they are probably the hardest working band in rock history. I liked old metallica, but they worked harder than any metal band in history... which created the abomination that they are now. Regimented... counting the money... not what they were supposed to be. I did not like Garth Brooks... but he worked the circuit harder than any who came before.

I respect people who work... despite their message. Madonna created her, as did Mason... none worked as hard for their... whatever.

There's a huge difference between hard work and flash-in-the-pan.
Most Rock & Rollers and especially Country stars spend years crafting
their skills.I know of very few examples where a singer or band
skyrocket to fame.In fact it is an anomoly.
    Not British Bands { Beatles,Yardbirds,The Who,Rolling Stones etc. }
    American R & B { Grateful Dead,Allman Bros.,The Band,Beach Boys
or anyone practically } to Heavy metal.
    Madonna was a flash-in-the-pan hit.

I don't like her music, I don't care for her image although I do respect her artistic interpretation of both. She writes her music, she has a voice, and I do admire the way she presents herself to youth, the message she contains in her lyrics and in person that it's ok to be authentic, even if it's a little different from the norm.

Please just stick to being a hot blonde that makes good and catchy pop songs. I dig some of the Marilyn Manson-esque weirdness. It sets her apart. But all the gender bending bull(*)(*)(*)(*) is just a boner killer.

Over the course of my many years I have seen many come and go in the music world. I just wish that those like GA GA would keep right on going someplace else. I don't like her music and I just don't like what she tries to portray. I think that the youth of today just like her and others like her because they are diffeent. That has been the case so many times throughout history.

What do you suppose she is trying to portray out of curiosity?

My understanding is that her message is that it's ok to be authentic and true to yourself without conformity.

Why is that so bad really?

Not a huge fan, but I have a lot of respect for her as a pop artist. The crazy image might overshadow her talent, but if you watch older videos of her just playing the piano and singing, before she got famous, she's an incredibly talented artist. The music might not be my cup of tea, but I have to recognize talent when its there, and I don't feel like ripping out my inner ear when i hear it. And thats not something I can say for most contemporary pop.

A lot of people will probably hate me for this, but more than pop, its the lame contemporary country music that make me wanna kill myself. Which is strange, because i like some traditional country, and alot of country cross over (zack brown band).

I actually think she is mostly authentic. She was part of the NYC party/ club scene. Those people are weird. A lot of hem make lady gaga look normal.

Her career is about as close to that of madonna as humanely possible.
Both Catholic girls who use a special first name and schtick to
    attract a following.They're not about music,just a cult following.

Accept anyone who actually likes music can see that lady Gaga is talented, while madonna was an untalented, failed dancer.

The club and party scene in NYC is full of weirdos. Ever seen the movie party monsters?. That's where she started. Madonna went for shock value to distract from her lack of talent. Lady Gaga has shock value because she came from a scene that is shocking to most people.

People who refuse to recognize her talent are musical hacks as far as I'm concerned. She might not be your cup of tea, but you have to give credit where credit is due.

Do you have any comprehension as to what an Idiot you sound.
Serious Musicians study for long hours in college and constantly
practice.Serious Musicians don't bother with outrageous costumes
and sets.Lady Gaga is serious about her Cult following, that's it.

Do you understand what an idiot you sound like? Lady Gaga did study music in college, and she's been performing since she was 16. On the other hand, did Hendrix study music at college?

As a songwriter, and vocalist, and piano player, she is incredibly talented. The fact that its not your cup of tea doesn't change that.
