Very true but thinking just because they wish to share the same legal rights as heterosexuals will cause us all to turn gay is.
I agree that keeping religion out of our laws and basing access to marriage on our constitution rather than someone's Bible doesn't show any disrespect to people of faith.
Possibly not, but gatecrashing a heterosexual institution is offensive to those who value marriage as a heterosexual institution. Different doesn`t mean less, it just means different.
Different people receiving equal rights is what America is all about. Over here, differences of race, religion, or sex do not mean folks have less of a claim to the institutions provided by the laws of this land.
Yes, I think he can. Are we treating other white men the same, when they arrive in boats as refugees? Or when they don't speak 100% the Aussie lingo? As long we believe we are better, everyone else is a bit of a negro...
It probably matters whether we're talking about biological definitions or legal ones. Harry Reid seemed to think the answer was yes in 2008 and yes many folks of African descent have passed for legally "white." The common use of the word is based on physical attributes (including dark skin), so maybe no -- unless a white man can have dark skin. *shrug* I guess I can only answer "maybe." If you provide more context I may be able to be more definite. NeĀ·gro noun \ˈnē-(ˌgrō\ plural Negroes Definition of NEGRO sometimes offensive : a member of a race of humankind native to Africa and classified according to physical features (as dark skin pigmentation)
