No need to bore me with Long Dead George. I've asked for recent output. Are you so out-of-date that you have none?

getting rid of all taxes and taxing rent is genius. Problem is msot rich corrupt bastrds stay that way with rent. Taxing it would essentailly end the idle rich sitting on butt collecting free money and they don't like that. It would also end the main selling product of the banks. IT works and works well but destroys correuption of big government. Crony communism would fight it tooth and nail aka obamas.

As with previous comments, there is no effort to refer to the OP. Care to try?

Yes it si proven that singel tax is simpler and more efficient that income sales patroll gas union added costs and dozens other taxes in USa. YEs single tax on rent would be awesome and lead to less income disparity yes thsi is al proven again and again and ht eonly recourse the governmetn has liek all ideas is to hush it up since then you cant print money and give it to your friend corporation and get kickbacks as all crony communists do nowadays. but ti never works and thats why usa and europe out biz soon

You should read up a little about the already established geosit policies. England in particular would benefit from it, but everyone else would as well.

In terms of economic history you could have a point. Today? The single land tax idea has no relevance

You are just scared of the land value tax because you know it would be so successful that it would render all your mumbo-jumbo obsolete.

Scared? Its all very predictable. The single land tax is irrelevant. You also know Georgism is irrelevant as, despite my request, you haven't come out with any recent Georgist research output.

If you read a little you would understand that repalcing current silly tax ssytersm with www.fairtax.org or geoist solutions would help the poor become wealthier and the rest be better off as well. It is not a 0 sum game. The key is to not pay people for not producing aka sitting on thier butts.

The fairtax at least has some relevance to today's economy. Irrelevant to the thread though.

    oh sure it does.

the single tax has never been more relevant

one idea that gary johnson is backing among many rational awesome americans backing it is the fairtax
    www.fairtax.org
that would absolutly result in huge economic growth comapred to current inhibiatative system

check otu that site and youtube gary johnson and tom woods

    you could learn a lot

You seem to state that geoism is irrelevant as a fact when it is simply your opinion.

Linux seemed irrelevant to many and now its better than solaris or microsoft.

america seemed irrelevant and now its no 1 producer in world of wealth

seems you have a lot to learn

skepticism is silly if you block out alternative solutions, many scientists held back progress for decades in the same amnner not to mention politicians na dreligiou politicians
