Here's another side to that.

People would have the same food on their plate if lazy Americans were forced to work instead of getting welfare for free.

One report stated that Carcamo has had 17 violations since 1995. Another noted that he was drag racing at the time of the crash. It is agreed that the car was travelling between 50 and 75 miles per hour on a street posted for 25 mph. Taylor's companion Noah Menard suffered a fractured skull and collarbone, as well as requiring eight pins to reconstruct his mangled elbow. The INS had twice begun deportation proceeding against Carcamo to return him to El Salvador, but regrettably did not follow through. Carcamo will be out of jail in a few years, but Tricia Taylor faces a lifetime of pain and disability because of another failure of the INS to remove a dangerous alien. Incidentally, drinking to excess and then driving is celebrated in Hispanic cultures rather than condemned.
Sentencing Update: On January 13, 2003 Jose Carcamo was sentenced to 3-5 years in prison. Four months after the crash, Tricia Taylor still must take pain medication, antibiotics, anti-depressants and sleeping pills. Chronic bone infection means she may yet lose more of her right leg. Carcamo sent a note of apology to Taylor and Menard, but misspelled the names. She responded, "It hurts me every time I see him. He acts like he's sorry, but you'd think he would know our names." She is not forgiving, either: "I have my whole life with no legs ... I'm only 18. He gets no forgiveness."

The mother of a 9-year old boy brutally murdered with an ax is afraid the rest of her family is in danger.In an exclusive interview Angel Paulder told Channel 2 Action News she isn't convinced the man shot and killed by police is really her son's killer.

Jordin Paulder was killed earlier this month when a man hit him twice in the head with an ax.

Witnesses say the man jumped from a car and attacked the little boy after Jordin pointed out a wobbly wheel on the car as it drove through a Roswell Road apartment complex.

"Jordin just loved cars and he was just telling them that there was something wrong with the car," says Paulder,

When police arrived on the scene they tried to question a man who was acting suspiciously. His name was Santos Cabrera.

When he tried to attack an officer, police opened fired, killing Cabrera.

Angel Paulder believes other people who were in the car are allowing police to believe Cabrera is the killer.

She worries the real killer may come after the rest of her family. So they have gone into hiding.

She is also concerned about Jordin's 7-year old brother. He witnessed the attack.

"He hasn't dealt with it yet. He doesn't believe it's real," Paulder says.

 

Not dealing with, "What ifs," here.

Fact. An illegal alien killed a woman.

Fact. Illegal aliens help produce food for millions of Americans.

Well, except that only a small percentage of illegal aliens are trying to kill Americans.

Look at like like you look at allowing citizens to own guns.
We know that a certain amount of guns are going to be used to perform illegal activities - maybe even to kill citizens - yet we accept
those risks.

We know that a certain amount of illegal aliens are going to be involved in illegal acts, but we also know that they are performing a vital service to the food industry.

Trump is correct? All this event is showing is that it's so uncommon for undocumented immigrants to 'gun down' Americans that it's actually newsworthy.

 

If they are illegal aliens, they start with an illegal act, escalation to murder is just a continuation of the crime...

 

And people who simply attack illegal aliens without any concern for the repercussions, shouldn't be allowed to buy groceries.

Have you given any thought to the unintended consequences of banning all migrant workers from the US?
Destabilized Central American governments when money stops flowing back to family members of migrant workers left in those countries.
I would think by now that Conservatives would realize how much it costs to go in and stabilize governments so that radicals don't take over.

Despite what many think, migrant work like picking crops is not easy work. Several farmers have tried hiring non-trained American workers with disastrous effects. The American workers were too slow, they had difficulty with the heat and posture, then they stopped showing up after a few days and the crops went bad.

I'm not talking form a progressive viewpoint. I'm talking from the farmer's viewpoint.

That's the reality of the situation.

 

I know. I have found it amazing how every person who breaks the law speeding becomes a murderer. You know, just an escalation of the crime.

The Albuquerque Police said they arrested an illegal alien on charges of sexual assault and murdering his girlfriend’s one-month-old baby girl. Authorities found the baby in a pool of her own blood with visible vaginal and anal tears along with two black eyes.

The suspect, Juan Galindo’s criminal record includes drug and alcohol abuse as well as assaulting another child. Galindo was charged over the weekend with aggravated criminal sexual penetration and child abuse resulting in death- his bail was set at $1 million.

“It's extremely hard on the detectives and everybody who, the initial deputies who attempted to do CPR on the baby, the family members who attempted to do CPR on the baby,” Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Lt. Justin Dunlap said. “It's extremely difficult.”

The Medical Examiner performed a preliminary autopsy on the dead baby and discovered she suffered previous rib fractures and brain bleed injuries.

Officials also said that Galindo used numerous aliases and birth dates while residing illegally in New Mexico and was deported in August of last year.

According to detectives, this wasn’t the first time Galindo had problems with the law.

“He has been arrested for a case involving child abuse before in Texas, I believe in 1993, for [some sort] of DWI related incident,” Lt. Dunlap concluded.

Galindo has at least six kids with a variety of women.

You seem to be missing the point, these murderers were never supposed to be here in the first place...

No, they weren't. But as a society we sometimes have to accept some crap that goes along with greater good. We support the right to bear arms even though we know some will be used to kill innocent people. We support the right to drink alcohol even though we know that people will be killed by drunk drivers

I support the right for employers to buy 6 month work visas for migrant workers. They provide a valuable service. Make it legal. Forget the stupid wall.

 

Why can't they get work permits and then come here? if we need them so bad the permits should be easy to get, right?

 

Atrocious analogy as it is LEGAL for citizens to own firearms & drive vehicles in the USA. It is however ILLEGAL to enter the country without permission/approval/sanction. Know the difference.

Yet many firearms are bought illegally that are used in crimes. Do we ban all firearms or do we try to better the system of distributing firearms.

I would argue we need to better the system of work permits for migrant workers. Many have worked here for years and their employers should be given the opportunity to get limited visas for them.
Bring them out in the open.
