GiveSendGo Hosts Freedom Convoy Trucker Fundraiser: $1.4M Raised Despite Cyberattacks

Christian-owned funding platform GiveSendGo is hosting a new fundraiserfor the Canada Freedom Convoy after its initial fundraiser was shut down by far-left funding platform GoFundMe.

GiveSendGo is currently difficult to access, struggling under increased traffic and cyberattacks from left-wing activists.

The company says it is facing attacks from bots and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), a technique used by cybercriminals to take a website offline by overloading it with artificial traffic.

Despite this, the GiveSendGo fundraiser is gaining momentum, with over $1.4 million pledged to the truckers on the platform as of 6:30 p.m. ET….



…GoFundMe released $1 million in donations to the truckers, but after the truckers’ protest gained momentum, froze approximately $9m in further donations that was destined for the truckers.

After initially saying it would redirect the funds to charities selected by the Freedom Convoy and “verified by GoFundMe,” the platform said it would issue refunds to all donors within 7-10 days.

This is not the first time that GiveSendGo has stepped in after GoFundMe censored a conservative cause….

Go fund me has done a terrible thing. It has exposed itself as a politically biased activist organization. That they thought initially that they could steal donors money and redirect it to causes of their own choosing speaks volumes about them. Thankfully another group stepped in to fill the void. Give Send Go is doing a great service.

 

It speaks volumes about the left that they resort to cyber war in order to try to deny funding to the truckers. We shall over come!

truckers better be careful, many are now learnign to drive trucks that never did in the past, and they are learning these trucks are much much nicer than they were in the past, much more comfortable living conditions inside, soon they may have more truck drivers than needed, then what?

 

Maybe if truckers in this country copied them and coastal blue cities stopped getting truck deliveries to those destinations the mandates would quickly end.

there are many people that will just wear a mask during a pandemic without whining, not like they have to wear it often

Truckers end up getting a windfall.......and don't have to return to work........and can keep cities blocked from functioning. and keep creating the noise pollution ..& exhaust pollution ..... just to make their point.........regardless of how it negatively affects others....

 

We don’t have enough as it is and the new ones could only fill in existing gaps not cover for a massive protest. Truckers are not exactly a liberal profession so I wouldn’t expect a bunch of woke new ones on the road anytime soon.

It’s already in the rear view mirror in red state and red county in blue state America. Only in the big blue states urban areas is anyone paying attention to the branch covidians.
It will become back to normal when blue America relinquishes it’s control tool no one outside of their jurisdiction complies with.

GoFundMe stopped forwarding donations because the protests turned violent. Not because it’s a conservative cause.

False. They have supported blm despite its violence. And the violence at the truckers protest is isolated incidents not reflective of the protest and cause itself. It redirected funds due to it being a conservative cause.

Vaccine passports were proposed by the World Economic Forum over a year ago. It is an attempt to remove power from national governments and move it to globalist bureaucrats accountable to globalist oligarchs. It does not have a damn thing to do with health or Covid. It is the single greatest naked power grab in our lifetimes and if it succeeds in Canada will be the greatest strip of human rights in the West in centuries.

Trudeau has already stated that being anti-vaccine mandate and anti-vaccine passport is an "unacceptable view". Those words coming from his mouth is reprehensible and must be punished. It cannot and must not stand. Until he acknowledges that the people of Canada are his master and not the World Economic Forum, the strike must continue.



The Omicron variant has demonstrated beyond ANY scientific doubt that vaccines don't do a damn thing to slow the spread. Just about everybody I know that was vaccinated got Covid. Everybody is getting this disease. Any argument for mandates/passports is therefor not an argument about health, it is an argument about ceding power to elites and stripping freedoms/agency from us. I trust my judgement regarding my own health far more than I trust the judgement of people who hate me and want me dead.
