This tends to bunk the myth about the "natural immunity" which is supposed to last for years. Beck was sick with Covid in 2020 and refused the vaccine because he thought he had natural immunity, but apparently it had already evaporated away and he got it again, and looks like this time its hitting him pretty hard,

Talk-show host Glenn Beck said Wednesday that he is battling COVID-19 for the second time and, most concerningly, revealed that the virus is “getting into” his lungs. He is treating the illness with a combination of drugs, including ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, and said on The Mark Levin Show, “My doctors are hitting it really hard.”

In making the announcement, Beck became the latest target of people who believe it’s OK to make fun of unvaccinated people who become seriously ill or die. Beck has said he didn’t get the vaccine because he had COVID-19 in 2020 and believed it gave him natural immunity.

 

Maybe he should give a shoutout to Trump and get on the Regeneron treatment.

 

What is it with far right? There are multiple legitimate treatments available out there, which include 2 pills and 2 mABs, and they still seek ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine?

No it doesn’t.
Glenn Beck is 57 and who knows what kind of preexisting conditions he might have. Also, one cannot rule out a possibility of false positive for prior infection.

 

It did give him natural immunity from the original strain of the virus. That isn't what infected him.

 

He is sick, so obviously he didn't have immunity.

Maybe he'll opt for the jab this time.

False positive for prior infection, not current.
From my own experience - I had a hard cold in July of last year, lost my senses of taste and smell and that bug went pretty hard on my lungs. I was 100% sure that it was covid, but then I took the test and it came back negative. Then in September I had my positive result with much lighter symptoms, virtually no sinus infection and no discomfort in my lungs.
So, I think a false positive cannot be ruled out.

 

You didn't bother to read what I wrote. He was immune to the original strain of the virus. He was not infected with that strain of the virus recently. He was infected with a different strain. I know that because the original strain has disappeared. We aren't dealing with it any longer.

same with the flu

the vaccine targets the spikes, thus is more likely to be effective against more variants, but even it is not 100%

 

Very simple....The vaccines were developed to provide immunity by imitating the original Covid infection.

When it comes to understanding, there are three types of person;

a. A person who understand
b. A person who don’t understand
c. A person who don’t want to understand

And this forum, we mainly have person (a.) and (c.)

 

Hope he recovers quickly....and then advises his followers to get vaccinated.

What he caught was low ratings. He's hoping this will revive them. Maybe the horse pills will 'cure' him and he can become a spokesman for the veterinary industry's New Drugs for People on Trump's upcoming channel
