    Not bad eh? That's a woman worth marrying....Not only can she bring home the bacon, she can hire the countries top chefs to cook it for her;

"Barra's base salary was $2.1 million, unchanged since 2017, according to SEC filings. GM said 90% of Barra's compensation is "at risk" meaning it depends on GM's financial performance and meeting other goals and objectives."

More like sexism in the US puts women in positions they shouldn't have been put in.

How true. Mostly on TV, especially sports telecasts.

You’re not wrong....but a cute blonde is no less credible about sports than the 5 foot tall, 120lb male reporter is.

A man would have gotten a bigger bonus with such results.
Don't make me laugh. This is how it works in the US.

CEO's of banks were still paid utterly massive bonuses for a "job well done", while they were going bankrupt during the mortgage crisis and had to be saved with taxes. How much them top manages get paid has absolutely nothing to do with how a company preforms. It's a total joke. Just buddies rewarding each other massive amounts of money.

I'll believe that when I see a 60 something homely woman on a sports broadcast.

The truth is the cute bimbos know nothing about sports. The proof is that while most male sports reporters are sports reporters for life, the bimbos will be on a sports show one day and Entertainment Tonight the next, whatever gets them the bigger platform.

I struggle with the new sports reporter diversity approach, I prefer ex athletes from said sport on the sideline.

It's not "diversity". It's the same as everything else. No Chinese, Japanese or Indians. No French or Austrians. It's unqualified women and blacks.

I prefer anyone who just sounds like they know WTF they’re talking about. Ex athletes always offer legitimacy. But sometimes theyre not the best speakers. If a woman sounds legit, fine. But some are just offering up good looks and would t know anTD from a fumble unless they were repeating someone talking in their ear. I like some Tennis commentators that are former stars.

Very observant. Your party would have us believe that sexism is rampant in the US and insist on government interference in the genitalia of board members. Do you concur?

Fair enough, but we are discussing government interference in a thread about an extremely successful female. I'll put it another way,

Name one thing a female cannot accomplish due to sexism:

That isn’t how sexism works. Or racism for that matter.

they just got a mega 15% tax cut from Trump, they should be doing fine

If you are going to have big government interfere, you need a better answer. Companies were already leaving the state due to excessive taxes. Should government be forcing corps consider genitalia before qualifications?

I’m not forcing anything. But I support more women on corporate boards.

good news, though not sure the employees will go back just yet... unless they feel safe and\or get hazard pay

but as it's an order from the President, these corps need to do whatever they can to get their employees to work for them

"Trump to Sign Order Keeping Meat Processing Plants Open"

    https://www.usnews.com/news/busines...ign-order-keeping-meat-processing-plants-open

"The order will use the Defense Production Act to classify meat processing as critical infrastructure to keep production plants open."

Trump just forced corps to reopen, so do you support government interfering?
