    He had the tests flown in from South Korea, skipped Dulles airport and had the Korea Airlines jet land at BWI, where he had the Maryland National Guard on hand.

    I don't blame him.

    They haven’t yet used those tests because of a shortage of swabs and reagents

    This is why a co-ordinated effort is best but seems that leadership is MIA

    This kind of thing has been going on right along .Read a story about a hospital that secured n95 masks after a herculean effort only to have FEMA confiscate them.

    This has Jared's fingerprints all over it

    You think it's normal that a Republican is hiding supplies in fear of confiscation from a Republican administration??

    Seems like good state governance to me, especially since Governors have been told to take the lead....

    It seems odd to do the hiding, but it m not sure if the governors party is a critical part of the story, would it be a surprise if he was a democrat with a so. Korean wife?

    Found another article as well that gets iij into the details of why they had an inside angle with the s. Korean govt. I guess it's better safe than sorry?

    We have north Eastern States setting up a cooperative to purchase and acquire medical goods because the entity that the states joined together to form has told everyone they are on their own and governors using their version of the military to protect their equipment from the federal government and the right sees nothing wrong with any of this...

    Maryland governor also cancelled his $12.5 Million contract with just registered in Delaware as a company BLUE FLAME MEDICAL LLC, a firm just started by two GOP party operatives former fund raisers. They are now suddenly claiming to be the worlds largest suppliers of ventilators and PPE equipment despite never fulfilling a single order. Unfortunately the governor issued a check for half the $12.5 Million order.The two GOP scam artists are someone named Mike Gula and the other John Thomas.

    So you think the states SHOULD be heading up their state efforts and not the federal government, that that is not what FEMA should do? And FEMA says the don't know what the Governor is talking about.

    No, I think a national pandemic calls for a national response, but we have a vacancy at the top....

    In lieu of that, I like to see some states pooling their resources to simulate some form of mass response...

    Well if a national response what is your beef here if true. And I'll repeat FEMA doesn't know what the governor is talking about and in fact sent them mask. We are having a mass response, on the federal level and the local level, have you missed it?

    For securing the supplies that Trump dragged his feet on helping him secure while Trump was also telling him it was his job, not the Fed's, to secure those test, but Trump still threw a hissy fit when Hogan did just that.

    We sure have found the useless parody of a leader, I'll agree with you on that much.
