The sad thing is that the people in attendance don't bother to check them out to see if what they say is really true - they just go and repeat it! New Gingrich claimed that Ben Bernanke was the most inflationary Chairman of the Fed. Most of the candidates agreed by claiming they would fire him or replace him. Chart reflecting inflation shows Bernanke as low compared to some of the others. It appears that his inflation rate is even lower than Greenspan! So, when Gingrich claimed that Bernanke was the most inflationary, he was lying. Michelle Bachmann, being interviewed on Faux News, mentioned that some lady told her that her daughter had been innoculated with the HPV vaccine and had contracted mental retardation. Didn't bother to check whether it is possible, she just blabbed it away as fact. Faux News viewers who favor Bachmann will surely be repeating this rhetoric. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention claims they have not found serious side effects. Theres a woman who came up crying to me tonight after the debate. She said her daughter was given that vaccine, Bachmann said on Fox News. She told me her daughter suffered mental retardation as a result. There are very dangerous consequences. Plus you have to add in the difference on what and how the government is tracking inflation numbers. Prime example, food and gas is no longer represented within the inflation numbers, funny thing is who doesn't buy food and gas? So yea one can play the numbers game, yet last year I could pick up a dozen eggs for under a dollar almost anytime of the week. Now I go to the grocery store and eggs are a good deal under 2 bucks. Top and Ramen was 1 buck for a six pack just months ago now the average price and the best ya'll find is 1.25, a 25% increase on them and nearly 70% increase on eggs. Milk seem to have gone up from around 2.78 for store brand special to now seemingly hovering around 4 bucks give or take 20 cents. So you can say inflation is low under Obama but every person that shops for grocery will likely not take you seriously at all. Let us not even mention gasoline and energy cost in general. Funny things about lies, most lies only persuade them that tells them, others usually know it nothing but lies.

Anyone who thinks that prices will remain what they were in the 20's is ignorant. Prices have been going up steadily ever since my parents were little. They talk about gasoline being 50 cents a gallon when they were young. Nobody in their right mind would expect that today.
