Law enforcement can't just take peoples' rights and property because another person does not approve. We're a land of laws, not witch-hunts.

Who said it's normal? It's not ordinary or typical, but as far as I know, he broke no laws. The only one I can even possibly consider is "discharging a firearm within city limits". It looked fairly rural in the viddy.

 

As this is now in the public domain. The legality will be reviewed by the child protection services in whatever state he resides in. That is mistake he made by posting it online. He had no reason to discharge his firearm. He acted recklessly and dangerously.

 

We would NEVER allow adults to walk around with guns, shooting up their childrens belongings over an argument that could have been resolved simply by talking about it. That's ridiculous, and its hilarious that this kind of crap is tolerated in the US.

Long videos slow my computer down so no - but I have seen small snippets of it elsewhere. I stand by my comments. The argument could have been resolved if he sat her down and talked to her. Instead, he has made the situation worse.

 

When you're dealing w/a teenager like her, often a little chat just doesn't cut it... in my opinion, they both made the situation what it is.....

He should have done something about her stinkin attitude and self-centeredness a long time go..........

 

I was a brat when I was 16. My mum simply sent me to bed early and refused to let me watch my fave TV shows. It worked.

 

Let's get to the serious stuff.... would you have degraded your parents on a social network to your friends like this kid did? Especially after your dad sunk $130 into your laptop?

 

I have complained about them but I would never say somethin nasty about them on FB. My other family and friends would see it.
