Greta Thunberg Blasts Biden Govt For Ignoring Climate Crisis & Expanding Fossil Fuel Infrastructure.

So .. what have we here if not a case of blind leading the blind ?

Greta is correct that Joe has done nothing to seriously address climate change - but clearly by accident .. as then the evironmental moron goes on to criticize expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure ..

So ..if Joe was to decrease our fossil fuel production .. as Greta suggests .. this means we have to get the oil from somewhere else .. Exxon and other majors just announced a big find in "Nambia" .. suppose we could get it from them ...and others at a higher price.. and after all .. don't they need the jobs more than we do ?

The problem is that doing this increases 1)industrialization of non industrialized populations - which is the reason CO2 has increased from 22 Billion - 36 Billion tons/year ..over the last 25 years ... all of whicy is due to industrialization .. as First world nations have decreased CO2 over this time period.

    2) the added bonus of this moronic plan .. is that these industrializaing nations pollute the hell out of the oceans .. a massive increase over last 25 years .. despite the first world decreasing.

But poor Joe .. his "Not in my back Yard - Dump it in the Ocean" policy is not good enough for Greta .. cancelling the Keystone his first week in office .. Greta wants Joe to double down on "Not in my back Yard" .. increasing CO2 and Ocean Pollution even more than current policy.

    What's not to like ..

Its spelled Namibia (its in Africa, just FYI). Why are you so concerned about that she says? Its like your head explodes every time the kid opens her mouth.

Exxon getting oil out of the ground, or sea in this case is Namibia, is still good for Exxon and for US since its an American company.

The typo Nazi's at it again I see.. that and fallacy being the apparent limit of your capability - complete inability to respond to the message.

Of course Exxon - a US company - finding more oil is a benefit to Exxon .. you figure that out all on your own ? .. and indirectly the US .. assuming some of the cash makes it back here .. brilliant deduction.

This conversation however is about the Environment --- and while good for Exxon .. horrible for the Ocean - horrible for CO2.

Not a fan of it .. at all. Strictly Against is situationally dependent .. as one has to weigh the various factors .. none of which you are aware of so worry not. Against most of it if that makes you feel better .. "OH My" LOL :)

The Keystone pipeline is and has been in operation for years, it is the Keystone XL that was canceled.

If you actually worked on the Keystone pipeline then you would know the proper name of the item you worked upon. Not that the Keystone XL was anything but a Chinese-driven project for the Chinese investment of 15 billion in the Alberta tar sands to make sure they had a source of oil to refine.

I do know the proper name .. and your claim in relation to the Chinese having some big influence on the Keystone project is abject nonsense on steroids ..

What does any of this have to do with Biden's "Not in my Back Yard - Dump it in the Ocean" enviro policy ?

I was not concerned over her comments either .. as stated in OP - she was correct that Biden is doing squat for the Environment. My concern is that Greta is just as big of an Environmental Moron as the Biden-Blue clown show .. and their "Not in my back Yard - Dump it in the Ocean Enviro Policy" - which is what "Triggerd You" :) LOL

That is a popular opinion. Not the only opinion. And it is clear that government sponsored rush to stop climate change is about money not climate. In fact government cannot stop climate change. The planet is in charge with that.

China has invested $55B in Alberta
The China Institute estimates China has invested a total of $55 billion in Alberta, the majority in energy projects, out of $85 billion in Canada.

The nation's more than 2.6 million miles of pipelines safely deliver trillions of cubic feet of natural gas and hundreds of billions of ton/miles of liquid petroleum products each year.

Popular Opinion ? Simply False -- don't think you understood what was being said .. "Not in my back Yard - Dump it in the Ocean" is popular Opinion .. better to get it from Namibia -- than from the USA - Domestic.. is "Popular Opinion" among the Biden-Blue Crowd .. and the Greta's of the world. Better to produce in a non industrialized nation ... leading to a massive increase of Ocean Pollution (and CO2) - ship it here by Tanker - than produce the product we need domestically .. Cleanly and ship it by energy efficient clean pipeline .. along with creating massive jobs .. economic growth .. in the USA .. far more than drilling in Botzwanna - and paying the WCS price .. which is 20 bucks below the current Brent Price.

If you are for all of athe above .. which is essentially what you have stated .. you may be a Blueneck

Can you quote someone saying that?

These lines were hatched in your head, so why insert them in someone elses mouth? I mean....dump what in the ocean?

So, what is it about that teenager that makes your head explode every time she says something?

Good article .. but one you obviously didn't read .. as completely refutes your nonsense claim that China some significant driving force behind the Keystone.. and Oil-Sands in General.

So China invested in the Canadian Oil sector - as Canada is a free market economy .. but Nexen is/was a small player in a big pond.. China investing just at the wrong time .. got hammered. Your claim that China had something to do with Transcanada - Keystone XL .. abject nonsense on steroids.

Yes .. Transcanada is the Canadian Gas Monopoly .. what does that have to do with China having some influence over the Keystone XL..

You claiming China owns majority shares in TransCanada - at least enough to have few seats on the board ? Do support this claim.. as I would be very surprised .. but you definitely would win a point .. albeit a small one in the grande picture... but a point no less.

    The floor is yours ..

Don't blame me for your environmental ineptitude .. quote someone saying "Not in my back Yard - Dump it in the Ocean" ? Is that what you expected Biden to call ihs policy ? the phrase which has "Triggered your head to explode" :) Mr. Projection.

Surely you had heard our Hero say the first part "Not in my back yard" - over and over .. disincentivizing Domestic Production .. but not enough for Greta.. criticizing Bidens pathetic efforts to dismantle fossil fuel infrastructure. .

Now the other part .. "Dump in the Ocean" (increase CO2) is what happens when you favor "Namibia" over domestic production .. and No .. Bidin didn't tell you that part silly .. but that is his Policy .. Fossil being just one example.

You are clearly NOT -- a Blueneck.. but, Joe - and the Blue Clownshow - are indeed following Queen Greta's instructions .. Just not as well as they could be .. a pathetic "lipstick on a pig" application to be sure.
