How many firearm manufactures are publicly traded stock?

    Answer: 3

The average gun owner could care less about stock prices of gun companies.
What they care about is preserving their 2nd amendment rights.

I literally come in contact with thousands and thousands of gun owners each year via my work, traveling for competition, representing my sponsor at trade shows and the NRA annual conference. I never once have had a conversation with anyone about manufacture stock prices of the three publicly traded companies.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but we just don't care. They don't effect us.

Yeah, just as I thought....you're just blowing more smoke and regurgitating the same old, same old that was already covered. Bottom line: as the chronology of the posts shows that YOU REFUSE to acknowledge ALL the information presented, which essentially disproves your original contention. You're just being stubborn to the point of insipidness. So I leave you to repeat your myopic screed ad nausea, and declare your subjective victory to your hearts content.

Oh for the love of God spare us all this BS, Chuckie! It didn't happen because you and your ilk were dead WRONG! And instead of doing anything to better the situation in America for everyone, you hold onto your myopic version of what should be and why you're unhappy and make any and all excuses when reality smacks you in the face. But take heart....maybe one day your dream will come true and everything will collapse an/or you'll have your Turner Diary fantasy come true. Meanwhile, the OP is just a minor, superfluous thing for you. Pathetic.

You got nothing, Chuck. I leave you to just prattle the predictable.

Guns will never be taken. It is ridiculous to think such a thing could even happen. The only way it could is if they start killing the people that have them. So I guess if your all for a mass amount of murder, using the weapon that you wish to get rid of, maybe than it's worth the debate.

So giving a kid an Uzi (an accident waiting to happen...and it did) is just a small part of your oather, sovereign nation, separatist, prepper, survivalist mindset. You do NOTHING to make things better in this country.....you're just blame any and everything other than your own inability to confront the failures of your leadership or your inability/unwillingness to lead for American values for ALL Americans. Nope, it's all thump chest and bluster for you...DESPITE THE FACT THAT IN THE USA THERE IS NO LAW THAT PREVENTS A LAW ABIDING CITIZENS FROM OWNING A REVOLVER, SEMI-AUTOMATIC, SHOTGUN OR HUNTING RIFLE.

You want military weapons, join the Army or National Guard. You want another civil war, good luck with that...because the vast majority are not with you. And TFB if you don't like the 2nd amendment as it stands, because that pesky "militia" part is not going anywhere soon. Like it or not, weapons regulation has existed since the times of the fore fathers, and will continue thus. Carry on.

Why do you gunners insist upon LYING about what people write. I stated time and again that I have NO problem with law abiding citizens owning firearms for protection...my problem is with the moronic notion that a child should be given an Uzi to practice/play practice shooting with under any circumstances. That is an accident waiting to happen, as the OP showed.

We have the National Guard and several branches of the military for defense against invasion.

What would be funny is if your little rant here was actually considered logical and rational...but that actually is the exact opposite of what you did.

Let's cut the crap.....if you put the same system towards purchasing/selling guns as you did with say cars, then it makes that much more difficult and expensive for criminal element to get them.

But gunners don't want this...as they are severely paranoid that the "gov't" is coming for them. 30 years and counting this mentality has permeated this society...and it helps nothing.

    - - - Updated - - -

Who said they would be besides the usual paranoid gunner screed that benefits not society but gun manufacturers?

Yea, Machin - Toomey bill was defeated in congress with no help from all the gun owners that congress said flooded their phones, email and faxes like no other issue ever. Right. That is straight out of the mouths of several senators and congressmen that were interviewed on TV after the defeat.
Like I said, we continue to be vigilant.

It has already happened. Firearms confiscation was widespread in the city of New Orleans in the wake of hurricane Katrina, with military and police personnel going door to door, wearing body armor, and equipped with machine guns, confiscating any and all firearms that were found.

Because criminals purchase their firearms from retail locations, rather than simply stealing them, correct?

Why should they believe otherwise, when it has been witnessed in other societies around the world?

Tell those who have been victimized by the SAFE Act of the state of New York, that their firearms were not taken from them by government.

You make me laugh. They confiscated the guns found in the rubble. Nobody personally gave them up unless willingly. Most gun owners would never give them up.

Oh Gawd. You think you're trying anything original? Your claims don't change the facts. Criminals use criminal means to get what they want, and liberal shills such as you attempt to re-interpret history to suit the party line. You underestimate the intelligence and resolve of free men.

We're not doing that. People like you are. Thats why I said thanks for raising awareness and letting people know there are people like you who want to restrict other people's freedoms, in the vain hope of having some negligible effect on criminals.

Of course you could always just focus on the criminals in the first place, but that isn't really what you're after.

    - - - Updated - - -

I like how you use big words.

    - - - Updated - - -

There are those on the forums that advocate just that.

Of course, THEY don't want to do it, they want other people with guns to do it.

Once again, you are quite wrong in your assertion.

What was that, that you were saying again? The only firearms confiscated were those found in rubble? No firearms were surrendered unless they were done so willingly?

Tell us again that it did not happen. Tell us that Patricia Konie was not tackled to the ground, and her firearm taken from her by force. Tell us that the videos that disprove your claims were faked, and no such incidents occurred.

that makes no sense. there is only one argument that can win for gun banners like you-that is clear and convincing proof that the stuff you want to impose on us citizens will decrease violent crime substantially. THERE IS NO OTHER LEGITIMATE argument for gun control. and no matter how you slice it, the evidence DOES NOT EXIST to support that one valid argument that might be made for gun control
