What studies? I would love to see a single study that proves a piece of paper stopped a violent crime.

What about crimes that result in death in which firearms are not used ? Rapists that infect their victim with AIDS ? Or serial killers that prefer to torture their victims slowly over days, weeks, then when they feel like it, break the victims neck, or bleed them to death slowly..... No guns used, some Psychopaths actually hate guns, they prefer more painful methods of death.

And yet suicides were quite common before anyone had guns, and I can tell you, in N.Y.C suicides are seen every day, 1. Number one most popular method of suicide is hanging. 2. Jumping in the path of a Subway train or in the path of a City M.T.A. going your way Bus. 3. tall buildings and bridges, 4. poisons and drugs. 5. Last on the suicide hit parade are firearms, and they are the messiest suicides, especially shotgun suicides and also including death by COP, people that want to die and do something to induce Police to have to shoot them, investigations often prove the victim had been planning this a long time.

But after you filter out all those killings by someone who COULD buy a gun the day they killed but already had the gun they used for more than 3=5 days, you are clearly at number many times smaller than 1700 that is why that faith based "finding" doesn't even pass the smell test. and VEGAS has refused to even discuss this problem with his claims,
harassing honest gun owners is an extremely silly and inefficient way. since you push for the least feasible and least effective means, it proves your real motivation is based on what those laws clearly do cause-harassment of gun owners

Really ? I spent ten years on Ambulances, see my Avatar ? Rolled on suicides everyday, I saw the victims personally, the ones that hurt me the most were the children, some as young as 9, and hanging was the method. I know what I have seen of suicides. I have seen suicides in many other Countries too.

So, those denied people still obtain firearms illegally, and murder people, also illegally, and still go to jail when caught.
