Of course not. I think that some bigoted people who claim to be Cristians persecute others and deny liberty of others in the name if God when God and our heritage say that should not happen.

"In God We Trust" is certianly a better motto than "Obey Thy Lord"
But how about something even better like "Love Thy Neighbor"?
I think that could even get traction with many non-Christians.

The OP is a constant poster of Trump and MAGA threads. It is associated with him whether he mentions Trump specifically in the post or not. And lets be real here bud, Trump is all but the official Republican nominee for president in 2024. He is relevant to pretty much everything right now.

You have no basis for assuming Christ's position on college admissions in any way. As far as sex changes, you might be closer to right about that one. But neither issue would have even been one that he would have experienced at the time period he was said to have existed in. But in the stories, Christ spoke about hypocrisy and about perverting God and religion for material gain specifically. He would have a lot to say about Trumpism and following a man like Trump, who is about as close to a false idol as you can get.

Shouldn't this thread be in a Religious Beliefs forum?

This is a secular nation by design. Christians are not the lords of the universe. Christian values are not in the Constitution. The 1st Amendment is about more than just freedom of speech. It also guarantees that no religion ever be officially recognized as our "state religion." Let's please keep it that way.

IMO, based on our Constitution, "in God we trust" has no place on our currency or any other public objects. Even "under god" was not added to the pledge of allegiance until the mid 50s, during the McCarthy era.

Christian beliefs are no guarantee of a strong moral compass. We see that every day. Nor does absence of belief indicate weak morals.

The utter arrogance of American Christians never ceases to amaze me.

would you be ok with “one nation under No God” and “in No God we trust”, would you see that as anti-Christian?

as a Christian I can also say yes to that
but how can we preach "love thy neighbor" when the left won't stop brainwashing kid with CRT racial hate?
How can they love their neighbor if 400 years ago, someone that looks like that neighbor oppressed someone's great, great, great, great, great, great grandparents?

Lol, no one is saying that. Just because history upsets you doesn't mean it shouldn't be taught.

I love history. I don't like fake race hustling that tries to imply that history is still happening, but I suppose i'm getting into derailment territory now so I'll stop here with that topic.

There you go, blaming everything bad on "the left." That keeps me from taking you seriously.

You can't preach a positive message because somebody else is pushing what you consider to be a negative message?
    Why?

Perhaps they can learn to see beyond race, and treat their fellow humans as brothers and sisters. Perhaps right wing racists can learn to do the same.
Preaching a message of loving thy neighbour may help with that.

History is always happening. That's what history does. Yes, attempting to run and hide from history, as you are doing now, is derailment territory.

They can't do that if they are being told YOU ARE OPPRESSED and its these peoples fault
Think about all the Muslim hate that came just from 9-11
Imagine getting that hate fed to you from teachers from kindergarten on
Never forget, the left is the one pushing segregation, not the right

You can counter message it. Hence saying Love Thy Neighbour. You can emphasize what people have in common, that we are all X and Y good things.

That's the primary way homosexuals turned around the bigotry they faced for millenia. Bigotry is bigotry, regardless if coming from the KKK or blue haired feminists who hate white men, and the only antidote is Love Thy Neighbour.

    OH, good grief.

Educators, mostly at the college level, are teaching students that "racial disparities in socioeconomic outcomes are fundamentally the result of racism, and that white people are the privileged beneficiaries of a social system that oppresses blacks and other “people of color.”"

All true, whether we like it or not, if we even manage to acknowledge the facts. America has never been perfect, but I think we're better than most. I guess not everyone is willing to love our country, warts and all.
