Head Of ‘Drag Queen Story Hour’ Org Arrested For Child Porn.

Brett Blomme – a former head of the Cream City LGBTQ+ Foundation which runs a Drag Queen Story Hour program – was arrested on charges of possession of child pornography.

Blomme, 38, was taken into custody “following an investigation into multiple uploads of child pornography through a Kik messaging application account in October and November 2020,” according to a statement.

A 44-page search warrant filed Friday by a Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) special agent said investigators found Blomme, using the name “dommasterbb,” uploaded 27 videos and images containing child pornography. Two of the files were uploaded at a Milwaukee County government building, the search warrant said,” a summary notes.

Blomme formerly served as the President of the Cream City Foundation from 2017 to 2020, which describes itself as “mobilizing philanthropic resources by harnessing the pride, passion, and commitment of LGBTQ+.”

The foundation also runs a Drag Queen Story Hour program, an event that “captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models.”

“In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real” a description adds.

 

Stand by for all the broad brush claims that because this guy is a pedo, therefore all DQ's are pedos and the only reason for this program is to set up victims.

 

You mean this program has a legitimate reason?

 

Maybe he can write another story book for the children about the drag queen who was arrested by the big bad police men.

Let's start with the whole purpose of a Story Hour at a library, regardless of who presents it. Does that have a legitimate reason to exist?

 

Sure, but ...let's reset that with the purpose of Drag Queen Story Hour. Why specifically should Drag Queens be reading to small children?

All the evidence points to this guy probably being a pervert, BUT, as a Libertarian I have to speak up on this.

Did he actually do anything he should not have had the legal right to do? That is not so obvious.

We can't just be sending people to prison just because they are creepy perverts. That is not right.

And a bunch of parents are a little wacky and cuckoo if they think this is a wonderful thing.

As a libertarian, there shouldn't be any public libraries and public schools, so as a libertarian you don't seem to have a dog in this fight. Meanwhile in the real world, we have public schools and public libraries and it's a legitimate question as to why they should be hosting these type of events,

That is a ridiculous notion. I don't know where you got that from. Only the most extreme fundamentalist Libertarians or Anarchist-Libertarians do not believe in public libraries and public schools. The vast majority of Libertarians are not completely against public libraries.
