    Yeah, one got locked already. I am paranoid enough to wonder whether I contributed to its demise.
    In my own best interest, I should probably try to avoid "israel" threads anyway. The dynamic in them is not good. But I know I won't...

    Well they close any thread when it reaches 500 posts, because it slows down the forum. There are billions of "IsraeliĀ—Palestinian" threads anyway and I've never really seen one ending with a mutual conclusion by the posters.

    I'd never expect an internet discussion to end with a mutual conclusion :) but a little bit more reasonable and fact-based discussion would be good...

    Hi, welome to PF. Hope you enjoy posting here, I'm sure you'll find all kind of subject matter to choose from and I don't blame you for staying away from the very controversial threads.

    I'm always interested to find out how Israeli's really feel about our President, especially since conservatives on this Forum as well as throughout the US try to imply that he is not pro-Israel. It isn't true, of course, and I was glad to see your prime minister actually contradict their ads. I guess our right-wing here in the US will try to muster antagonism against the left by spreading lies.

    There is a certain political sector that feels that whoever doesn't constantly say 'go Israel' must be 'anti-Israeli'. But I think it's safe to say most people do realize this is not the case. I personally certainly don't think he is anti-Israeli. I think he is fair and as supportive as any other American president I remember.
