I feel sorry to compare because South Korean had shortest lifespan in the world during dictator Park ChungHui's regime. ( 1961 until his assassination in 1979 ) but North Korea had been doing much better than South Korea until Soviet and China's sudden economic relation change.

I feel North Korea is doing better than South Korea now, and I expect North Korea will do much better in near future.

These life expectancy data comparing countries all over the world is from CIA, and I read somewhere when somebody asked how they got the data, they didn't answer.

I dont think North Korea have official statistics like that.

You should know these statistics result depends on lot of factors.

Unless they tell us exactly how they got it, it's hard to just believe it.

Also if you search for it, you will find out they put North Korea suicide rate at the top right above South Korea now. Before they had North Korea suicide rate in low level.

This was questioned also, and they replied they calculated it by referencing countries around North Korea and considering other factors.

I concluded its simply an hoax.
