Consenting adult humans have the right to do whatever they wish with one another. The nonconsenting, the underage, and the nonhuman do not or cannot agree to sex, and thus it is rape to have sex with them.

If you think that two adult women or men or even 3+ adult humans being in a romantic and sexual relationship is the same thing as raping people or animals, there's something very wrong with you.

 

What's always funny is....after the homophobe compares homosexuals to people who rape animals....

they then DENY that they hate homosexuals and claim "I only hate the sin"....and expect people to believe them.

The age of consent protects children and adolescents from sexual abuse, it doesn't define what it is. Even if the law says it's okay, a middle aged man having sex with a 12 year old is still rape.

when I was younger, republicans set the age to 14 (without a 5 year buffer) in my state, dems raised it to 16 a few years ago (with a 5 year buffer)....

Why would progressives do that? Expecting children to be adults is more of a conservative position.

 

If you want a list of sexual perversions, start with the Bible. Sexual perversion however defined, has been around long before the SCOTUS decision on same-sex marriage. Besides, sex can become very boring if limited to male-female missionary position.

 

Left leaning folks expect children of this age to decide whether or not IUDs are appropriate without parent consent. Well, maybe not the children, but the left leaning 'adults'.

Only right leaning people make the ridiculous claim that providing access to birth control is equivalent to condoning sexual activity. Progressives are the ones who pushed for increased protection of minors from exploitative adults. Why would they suddenly reverse that?
