My user name is a shortened version of one of my Yorkshire Terrier's name. His name is Woogie. Here's a pic of him with one of the pups he sired (a little Wooglet) zooming by.
no he came in january and i came in march of 2010. i enjoyed reading his posts for two months i think, can't remember he's a very good poster and i wanted to debate him so i made a name like his.
I came up with my name because it sounds cool and I have the demanor of a Rockefeller Republican. But my actual positions are actually Libertarian and Conservative.
It is one half of my hack handle. Had it since the 80s. I don't know that I want to tie that world and this world... which is frankly why it is just half.
Pasithea is a Greek Goddess and is also the romantic interest of the main character of my novel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pasithea And apparently it is also a pretty flower! Pasithea Caerulea.
Obscure Monty python reference that became my nick name Stig And a number from hitchhikers guide to the galaxy 42
I used the Alias Bluespade115, When I made my excite account I could not use that so I shortened it to Spade115 I personally like the name and have used it ever since, However some people think too much into a name. I have been told by a few they like my racially motivated name (on political forums to sportsbike forums o.0) and on chopper forums everyone assumes I have (Which would be nice) a 115 CI Harley Shovel My nickname locally is Cowboy and online most people just call me Spade.
From my husband,10 years of debate, and he knows we end up in bed eventually... I win a lot of debates, just sayin
Mine is pretty straight forward i guess.. I just thought of something, and Mr. Swedish guy was avaible. quite unique also don't ya think?
I've been called stretch since I was 16, at 6'5" it fits LOL and the 351c stands for the Ford 351 Cleveland engines that a buddy and I raced at local dirt tracks for a few years, then built a few for street cars.
From the Classical Greek play by Aeschylus. Prometheus represents the few people who created everything that prevents the rest of mankind from living like wild animals. These people also created all the world's wealth, which was stolen from them by the plutocracy. The 1% is represented by Zeus, who never would have become the chief god if it hadn't been for Prometheus's brilliant service. After foolishly helping Zeus instead of taking the leadership himself, Prometheus was chained to a rock. Significantly, his guards are not named gods, but simply called Power and Force. It is these two tools of the 1% that those who represent Mind have to put all their focus on in order to overthrow them. Geniuses should no longer try to help an ungrateful and insulting mankind until this is done. More at abeautifulmind.proboards.com
Probably should. E Pluribus Venom is a publication by artist Shepard Fairey. I became familiar with his work as a skateboarder... his obey giant stuff really intrigued me. Then came the 2008's popular "Hope" image that sky-rocketed his contemporary artistic career. Anywho, the handle is a play on "E Pluribus Unum", or "Out of Many, One"... found on American currency. The venom insertion means "Out of many, poison", which is kind of a rebellious, individualistic approach to the former, and holds the belief that a like-minded nation is a nation hell-bent on destroying itself... and while others would seek the shelter of the masses for comfort, being the only one in the room with an opposing view is appealing to me.
I've always loved Puritan-style virtue names (Justice, Obedience, Goodness, Honor, Charity, Kindness, etc.), and figured I'd give myself one in my online life. It's a shame such names had to die out in the 19th century. Plus, I feel it fits me, because I try to live as kind and ethical a life as possible.
