LOL... I'm trying to upload reasonable sized pics and not having a lot of success. I've managed a couple, but then forget how I did it. I've been using the last few posts to relax running with Winter Bears theme of bears and wolves. Were you the poster from 'And Some Things Are Just Beautiful? If you are, you had no trouble uploading decent sized pics.
Here goes again.... When I right click I don't get a "view image," option. Maybe I'm just not meant to do it.
Yeah! Sort of.... Now all I need to do is get rid if the thumbnail..... NO, not really talking to myself, just waiting for one of you to slap me up the side of my head. Wanna volunteer, crafty, it needs someone who can do it right.
It's a pain in the butt actually. Essentially, you have to go through the steps of posting an image both ways, from your pc, and from the net. Okay Wolfie, do this... go through the steps of loading the image from your PC > then, click on "Go Advanced" at the lower right of the posting window > this will give you a preview of the post/picture, it will be the thumbnail > Right click that little image > depending upon your browser, you will now either click copy image location, or click properties, and copy the URL > Once you've done all this BS, now you're ready to go through the process of posting the pic via URL method. It does work, once you do it, it's no biggie... just a little time consuming. good luck with it.
Good job....good job! Looks like Winter Bear will be along that beauty looking for his supper! Oh, and it's okay to go off topic a bit...all in fun. Btw, I still don't know how to do it so I use "photobucket". Then I have to delete too many pics so I just say, poop. I am learning something here. Maybe I will finally get it...lol.
I think I am learning, and then I forget what I just did. I am going to try Angedras' method shortly. I'm pleased that Winter Bear, Crafty and I were able to give you a laugh.
Confucius said a lot of things, but I guarantee he never posted a picture on a message board. If I am wrong, I will eat 3 lbs of wasabe!
lol, I know it's aggravating for you. I wish I could show you how. It does work, but my trying to explain it falls short, I'm sorry. That is frustrating for me. Just a couple more ideas for you, although perhaps more aggravating (time consuming) than it's worth... Send the picture via email to alt account, then C/P the URL and proceed. Or... Perhaps you have a photo album (storage) associated with your cell phone, if so, store your pix there, open and C/P URL, then post here. That's about all I can offer. Again, I know my instructions fall short. If I think of a better way, I'll let you know. Regards
It's NOT your instructions, Angedras, nor anyone elses. Sometimes I can get it to work and the next time not. When I copy the URL from 'Properties', for some reason the full URL will not always copy, other times it will. THAT'S a whole 'nother story.....LOL Some pics store to my mobile (cell) and some to the SIM card, and I still haven't worked out how to sort that out. I'm going to give Tiny Pic another bash. I like to post reasonable sized pics, as opposed to clickable thumbnails, as I think they have more impact. And I hate being beaten by a pile of plastic and wiring. Also, at 70 odd years, I find it keeps the brain from turning to mush.
