Can you translate this into something coherent and with a point?

What a ridiculous claim. You're saying Winston Churchill and President Theodore Roosevelt had low value because they, too, had tattoos? Nothing in life is all or nothing and making claims of haves vs. have nots is a ridiculous attempt to stereotype millions of people from all walks of life.

Silly, huh? And I didnt know you HAD to serve to show patriotism or be proud of your country. Hmmm. Sad, really sad you think that way. Shallow really.

Times do change no matter how much you age and refuse to change with cultural evolution. Your era apparently made determinations about people based on appearance, much as people who are racist do about people unlike themselves but based on skin color. Anyone with an education understands the importance of acceptance, inclusion, diversity and the wealth of value a company can gain by taking advantage of the differences among its people.

that's all we need to know...its not your day anymore...

you claimed no one famous ever had a tattoo, you were proven wrong...

Its not my day anymore but I'm smart enough to realize that and let younger generation live as they see fit and not judge them...I went through that s*** with older generations when I was a young man, I'm not going to make the same mistake...

I've Read the lengthy versions of Both men's Bio.
I don't recall mention of Tattoo.I do recall Churchill very
much disliked his own mother who likewise had little interest in
Young Winston. Churchill's mom was a social butterfly, some say a
    flat out whore/flirt.

Just curious. No, you don't have to support your country at all. People go down to Walmart and buy flags all the time on the 4th of July and don't do anything, aside from that act of purchase, to show their patriotism.

Are you saying I don't have a right to the opinion that it's a superficial act of patriotism?

Back to a game show defense,eh. let's see how many famous people had tattoo.
That game could be played ad nauseam in an old folks home, and no one would be
    the wiser ... Get it.

Are you saying you need help confirming he had a tattoo? http://education.blurtit.com/71824/who-was-winston-churchill-and-did-he-have-a-tattoo

Not sure what the bit about his mother has to do with the discussion.

What kind of tattoo and where was it located.
Churchill was an amazing person. But not w/o his quirks.
He used to love to play in the tub in the morning with his glass
of champagne nearby { he was a tippler }.Making little kiddie noises
    as he splashed away.
He drank and smoked { cigars } and lived to be 90.
Of course back in those days really important dignataries had their own
    physicians on hand.

From the link I provided above...Winston Churchill did have a tattoo. It was a tattoo of a ship's anchor and was located on his right arm.

:roflol: it was your game show defense! You started it....

You thought you had this great question that no one could challenge, now its a game show:roll: because you were wrong...

Is anyone wiser? since youve been schooled by everyone here I would hope you're a little wiser, but I have doubts...

You do realize that description fits you as well, don't you?

Why all the hate for people who don't like tattoos? Not very tolerant of you.

I would strongly advise that they not do so, unless they want to meet my friend, pictured below. My tatts won't hurt them. My rifle will.

Thanks, SMW, and agreed. Yes, I was being rough on him and all the other fans of multiple tattoos. In some ways it reminds me of the saying about "New parents never have an ugly baby". It's not like someone who has an arm or chestful of tattoos can get rid of them. At least not as easily as they were acquired, if at all. They're stuck with them so it's fairly easy to see why they are staunch about how great they are and anyone who doesn't approve is a "narrow minded shallow holier than though" person.

It's easy for people to say that those with tattoos aren't bad people, since they typically have them themselves.

True. OTOH, most that I've seen who have tattoos aren't "bad people." I just think it's a short-sighted rather obvious plea for attention. It's more a weakness of character than a good or evil thing, IMO.

I dont hate people that hate tattoos, I hate people that wish to portray tattooed people in a bad light. Just because they are tattooed. Big difference.
And I also challenge them to make the same remarks they make on line to a tattooed person. In person.

Must be your kid, no wonder you hate tats.

How do you figure? The name of the thread is "How do you feel about tattooed people?"

Do you think they should lie to keep from hurting tattooed people's feelings?

While I can see how as person like yourself would confuse disapproval with hate, I don't hate tats as noted in several previous remarks. You should do your research first before commenting, but I fully understand why you wouldn't.

    - - - Updated - - -

The message seems to be that only those who approve of tattoos are allowed to comment without rebuke.

yes , lie or keep their opinions to themselves...judging others because of their tattoos is prejudice, acting out on that prejudice is active intolerance...it's morally wrong regardless of the fact there are no laws against it...

But I see your point in regards to thread title...I just think some of comments directed toward tattoo owners are overly hateful and harsh...
