How does racism or racists affect you or our economy?

    Oh that's because I'm talking about the concept as an abstract and something that occurs in other countries etc. There isn't really any way in which racism is negatively affecting the US economy today, and probably not ever in history.

    What's actually affecting the US economy today though is affirmative action -- racial quotas and the like.

    Well, of course you're exactly right, and no one here could cite even one example of how racism or a racist is responsible for any personal or economic downturn. To top it off, you give them the real reason of the negative affect of AA and quotas as being the real reason for a sluggish economy and or a permanent underclass of minorities.

    One may lead to the other and lead to "collateral damage" to the least wealthy in our republic.
