    How Pete Sessions Became ‘Congressman-1’

    https://www.texasobserver.org/pete-sessions-congressman-1/

Former Dallas Congressman Pete Sessions’ attempt at a political comeback in a new congressional district was already embattled. When Sessions announced his campaign for the 17th Congressional District in Waco in early October, some local Republicans said he was a carpetbagger trying to bigfoot his way back into power after losing his Dallas congressional seat in 2018.

Then, late last week, Sessions’ path back to Washington, D.C., started to look far more like a difficult climb. The former congressman was formally brought into the whirling scandal around the White House and Ukraine that had also caught up President Donald Trump, as well as his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani. A federal indictment against two of Giuliani’s associates for allegedly funneling Russian money into U.S. elections referenced a “Congressman-1” who, it quickly became clear, was Pete Sessions.

This involves Ukraine...a country that's been in battled with Russia, since Obama agreed to be more flexible.

All these people surrounding Trump over the years going down for corruption of some sort, but Donald Trump is squeaky clean(if you ask his supporters anyway). And then these same folks just can't put 2 + 2 together to figure out why Trump keeps getting investigated and why he receives so much suspicion and negative attention. They have to create outrageous narratives involving deep state agents, coup attempts, evil cabals, evil media, evil Democrats, evil evil evil.

All of it to avoid having to admit one simple thing.

They like what Donald Trump has done and don't care that he's a corrupt liar. They think that electing him put him above reproach and above responsibility, as long as he keeps making his voters happy. That would be a lot easier to stomach if they extended this same blanket of immunity to everyone. At least then they wouldn't be hypocrites of the highest order. But obviously his supporters do not. The blanket of immunity is for one person only. Donald Trump.

And that's why his supporters have no integrity, no credibility, and no standing whatsoever to complain about other people being dishonest and corrupt, including the Bidens.

Igor and his pal were funded by a Russian businessman. It’s likely that’s where all this money came from.

In their indictment of Parnas and Fruman, federal prosecutors say an unidentified Russian businessman arranged for two payments of $500,000 to be wired from foreign bank accounts to a U.S. account controlled by Fruman in September and October 2018. At least part of that money was allegedly used to try to influence U.S. politicians and candidates on Ukraine policy, in violation of federal law.
