The basis for me is, we all have to live on this planet together. Regardless of distance or place, we should as least tolerate each other enough to ask questions and get answers. I've always been the "black sheep" because I used to ask questions about everything, especially things you weren't supposed to talk about in public. Boy, did I get some nasty looks!! But you can't learn if you don't ask questions. And you can't learn if nobody is willing to answer you. I think thats the big problem here in the USA...nobody wants to answer you. Either they laugh and walk off, ignore you, change the subject, or say they don't know. It's that voice in the back of my head that MUST have answers. I can't stop asking questions, and if I don't get my answers, I get annoyed as hell. I'm glad Canada has a better media system than this country. I stopped watching the news decades ago, because it was all greed-mongering, violence, and crime. SSDDMOI. I just read articles now. Unless it's something really good, or poignant, I will watch a news report or online videos on the subject. I've worked with some people that quit work when their kids got to a certain age, so they could travel and have fun together, before their kids went off on their own lives. I think thats awesome, if you can afford it. I think thats another problem with this country, nobody spends time with the people they live with. Well, I mean when not being forced to do it. LOL
Now if y'all could just learn how to tip your servers... You do know the difference between a Canadian and a canoe right? One of them will actually tip. And hello and welcome Dr.
