On the 4473: Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance? He answered no. In his book he admitted he lied. Poppa Joe says he lied. The case, whether to charge him or not, is before a Trump appointed judge.
Considering the multiple calls for 'better gun control', what is to prevent someone truly disturbed from also lying about their substance abuse problem? While it may seem 'small' on the grand scale of things, if a regular citizen would be prosecuted for the same lie, then he should also. Biggest issue is what he did with it. Negligence doesn't even begin to cover that.
A regular citizen probably would not be prosecuted. If you mean the trash can episode, he didn't put it there, but it sounds like he was mighty high at the time.
I am concerned here. Democrats told us that lying to the government was a heinous crime for which you should be persecuted and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. And now? meh... It's Hunter. I assume he will be charged for it, but the reaction is still, who cares? It isn't like he's going to jail or anything. It isn't like Garland is going to send the goons to his house at 0530 and perp walk him out to the paddy wagon. Nope. Not going to demonstrate anything but the most sensitive of kid gloves. And why not? The obvious thing we should remember is that Hunter can dime on his dad... And wouldn't that be a hoot... So, Hunter won't be punished. At least not yet. My question for our democratic friends on the forum is why this obvious criminality, admitted criminality, doesn't even remotely energize them for their normal retributive pound of flesh. One might recall what happened to s certain General... But who cares? This is Hunter. He's a rock star in the illiberalati... He cannot be prosecuted for his numerous legal entanglements. Why? Permissive elitism depends on turning the blind eye to your colleagues in the democratic party.
I'm sure this is the charge the DoJ wants; his lawyers will cut a deal, and he'll get some combo of probation and community service. Meanwhile that will give the excuse for the FBI to destroy or return the laptop to Hunter, and everything is forgotten. Sounds like a big win for him and Joe.
Yes, Republicans now would never say “lying to the government was a heinous crime for which you should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law” because his royal highness has his ass in a sling. They are the ones turning a blind eye. This permissive elitist believes that Hunter needs to be charged for whatever crime he has done and I’m not an outlier despite your prejudiced opinion.
I think he will get a slap on the wrist because these laws are not there to prevent people like Hunter Biden from getting a gun if we wanted to prevent him from getting a gun we put him in jail. They are created to help the ATF and the FBI and keep a list of who owns guns which is illegal for them to do that. It's kind of like when Willie Nelson got arrested for possession of three or four ounces of marijuana and the judge let him off for a song that's because everyone knows that was stupid and it's really only there to keep Young men in jail.
I would say lying to the government is your right as an American. But I don't think you should have to ask the ATF for permission for your rights. And we'll watch what happens to Hunter Biden as a result of this and see how stupid everyone thinks these laws are because they won't be enforced on him.
Ok. Interesting. So when Joe lied, to us all about Hunter, does your same zeal to prosecute extend now to Joe?
Maybe in Kekistan where you live it is a right, but here it is breaking the law. I'm unaware of the "lie", if you could kindly reference it. Oh, and the Whataboutism of the day: Trump's false or misleading claims total 30,573 over 4 years
kekistan this in exist anymore because you normies drove us off our land. Lol Green lives matter. Well that law that's being broken is a stupid law that no one cares about and will watch this unfold when Hunter Biden faces no charges.
Joe should face the full force of the law when it comes to lying to the public. I can't find the law that violates, can you help me out?
